As someone who started building Big Beast Hunter since Kobolds, yeah don't do it lol. There are much more fun and efficient uses of dust.

Ahhhh Reno Hunter, a deck close to my heart.
Game 1 reminded me of Mean Streets of Gadgetzan. Most common deck was pirate warrior and if uou didn't play aggro vs them you either played Reno and won or you lost before you could play Reno. The game was over before turn 7 either way.
Finally the Roffle / Dane crossover i always wanted, best Xmas gift ever 💜

That's actually been more relevant than you think. The 1 hp makes it weak to all sorts of ping effects like Spirit Lash. Considering it's a minion you always keep in the opening hand, its health is going to be relevant.

Wait, no Zeph? I understand why but is Vandar really better than Zeph? Is Reno enough alone to justify a Reno deck?
Wild is ridiculously high tempo. If you're aiming for a late game deck like this you almost don't have a choice. As for zeph, nothing zeph could do on pull is gonna be better for this deck than vandar on pull. Obviously you could probably make a more successful reno deck that isn't hinging on big beasts and vandar, but that would be a different deck.

Is Tavish better than Rexxar in this deck (I assume so considering how fast the meta is)
They're about the same in terms of immediate impact tbh. Tavish is slightly better because of 3 damage Explosive Trap and Ice Trap but both clear boards fairly easily.
Man, that first opponent really coulda gotten you with better sequencing. Really shows that even in a deck like pirate warrior, there is a skill ceiling. Shame you don’t have to reach that ceiling to hit legend with the deck.
Tavish + houndmaster shaw = winged commander
The Flurgl-Toxfin combo is the most toxic, ridiculous and frustrating board clear in the game and it feels great to see the braindead play being punished like that.
I love how these super greedy value decks make the phrase “wow what a terrible hand” so common lol. Like wouldn’t you wanna make a deck with good cards
Terrible hand =/= bad cards. If you're playing a tier 1 deck and your entire opening hand is your top end, it's a terrible hand. Those cards are good in the late game, not the early game.
@@SaintSchield he doesn't really want to draw any secrets too though. Besides Explosive vs aggro I guess. The deck has like 4-5 cards that are actually good early game which isn't a lot, so terrible hands should be expected.
But this is a meme deck after all, so expecting it to be top tier is silly.
@@baldawen My point was that any card that's 5 mana+ is terrible in any opening hand. It's not exclusive to "greedy" decks.
