Reached Legend for the first time yesterday. Odd Quest Hunter is amazing 75%+ winrate. Most of the time I complete the quest in turn 4 and win in turn 6 or so. But yes, with enough armor or life gain it can be beaten relatively easily. Most of the matchups at the moment are quest warlocks though, and they do half the work for you :D
Once the meta and nerfs are settled I think quest hunter will just vanish, shudder shaman will come back with armor and healing, flamewaker is faster, secret mage as well both with iceblock, actual Reno priest with better draw consistency and healing, kingsbane going face, right now odd druid is only being carried by the amount of quest warlocks, and once they are gone odd druid will just suck agakn

In this version maybe yes maybe no? its hard to say since odd warrior typically wins by inevitability. With the quest reward, it is still an inevitability but has infinite removal for the enemy board unlike the coldlight variant. From what I have seen from these games is that one Juggernaut stabilizes the board while the other wins the board; as for what odd warrior needs might depend on the matchup
What do you think about tradable? The idea that a card can be changed for another is something that Magic had for a long time in form of Cycling but there you discard into the graveyard to draw another. I personally find it quite neat to include 1-2 of them in a deck, the cobra for weapons for example
Is their a reason why people don't use maly in their quest hunter decks? Its odd, fills your hand with spells, then you have a ton of spells to super burst down your opponent. I use it in my deck and it works perfectly fine. Whenever there's an opponent with life gain or armor it usually tips me just over the edge for lethal, or absolutely annihilates my opponent with 20+ damage over lethal.
Maybe tentacles for arms is secretly a highroll, because it gives you a weapon to replace cursed blade
I played about 80 games of this and I think I had to do this about 3 times and it saved at least one game from losing on the spot

I have played a very similar deck since the expansion was released and I have been finding some success with it. It's a lot of fun though!

having more than 4 juggernauts loses value because pirates can't be summoned due to the board size limit

There is a reason. It costs 9 mana, making it pretty bad when you die turn 8.
