1s dyeing:
Schwarzkopf Igora Royal Pearlessence P6-23 90ml
Schwarzkopf Premium Developer 20 vol 100 ml (I added 10ml extra for an easier consistency)
Dyed all over, left on for 45 mins
2nd Dyeing (toning):
Schwarzkopf Igora Royal 8-0 40ml
Schwarzkopf Igora Royal 9-55 10ml
7vol developer 60ml
Applied on damp hair all over, left on for 30mins
Washed, and styled cute

The whole "accidentally dyed my hair X" series is so relatable.
I think that the color was meant to be applied on golden hair !! blue+yellow=green. But because you don't have the yellow pigment in your hair anymore, it turned blue!
The Igora Pearlessence line is meant to be applied on blonde hair, a blank canvas, and the tone will cause the color to vary slightly. Even though this is a permanent line, they still work somewhat like semi’s. But when you put them over any random color or hair that has been colored multiple times, because they’re oxidative dyes you really need to know your color wheel to get the color intended, and even at that you will likely not get what you are exactly looking for.

ingrid a She must have her license if she has access to different lines from Schwarzkopf, Guy Tang’s Mydentity, etc. Yes you can buy these colors on Amazon and eBay (not guaranteed authentic) but she also has the swatch books which are only available to salons and stylists. But I live in the States, I don’t know what the law is where she lives. Not to mention, if she got her license but isn’t a working stylist continuing her education, that would explain all the color oops happening.🤷🏼♀️

Never wanted green hair, but I have really strong feeling, that I must try this emerald. 😂 btw big fan of pearlescent range but they never end up how they supposed to. 😂
How do you use it? I don’t seem to have problems with it. This color line is intended to be layered over pre-lightened hair, and the tone may cause the color to vary, but you can obviously tone the hair prior to coloring. It also has a dedicated developer (which she didn’t use, she used the blondme one) that will also make a difference. These colors are not intended to be applied over a permanent base color like what she started with.
Stella it just blows my mind how stunning you always look at the end, no matter the result. You pull EVERYTHING off. And you just really made me want to start dyeing my hair again aaah

Omg Stella! All I gotta say is girl!😱🤩🤩🤩 I really loved the blue originally then u toned it and my god it’s gorgeous! It really suits you. And I say keep going for the emerald you never know what other amazing colors you can get trying to get it to be emerald. That and nothing worth wild comes easy. So who knows maybe you will love the emerald so much once you achieve it.

Stella, I know its not permanent but what if you use the Arctic Fox colors? Theyre just the right tone you want and you dont really need to use a lot of colors. I think the Phantom Green is the shade you're looking for c:

I had emerald hair a few years ago! I went from dark brown virgin hair to green and my colorist just bleached my hair to the yellow stage without toning it and then after bleaching applied a dark blue dye to get emerald as the end result. Since your base hair is already so toned toward blue-white and has no yellow pigment that's why you keep hitting blue! If you go for emerald again I personally would recommend treating the product you've attempted twice as a straight blue dye and mixing it with a lot of yellow. Or mix a green with bonus yellow from another brand, I like Arctic Fox personally (I do know their dark green dye is mostly blue so be sure to add yellow if you do use it)!

This color should fade to a really ashy blonde in the future. I think the Igora Royal color range is not the range for this color because it is an oxidative dye. Personally, I would use a direct dye like Pravana, Pulp Riot, Joico Color Intensity, or even Overtone, and just apply the color by itself over top of the hair once it has faded back to a blonde shade. This will also reduce any possibility of damage because it won’t open the cuticle of the hair. Hope this helps!

A lot of professional colours use a lot of Blue or violet pigments into fashion colours because they assume they will be used on prelightened untoned hair or if it's a lift and deposit it works with the natural warmth in the hair to counteract and give the expected results
Ever since i watched and subscribe to your channel last year, i think i'm addicted coloring my hair 😅😆. Though i gave my hair a month or two before coloring again.
It looks amazing despite it not being what you expected. I find bleaching and THEN using semi permanent pigment depositing dyes is easier for getting the exact colour you want. It's always hard to determine colours if you can't see the result while you're mixing and I personally can't achieve the look I want with processing hair dyes.

Not a professional but am an artist so I think it applies here. If you wanted green hair you simply had to add the appropriate yellow that achieved emerald green. When dying your hair try to think of color theory. I wish more people thought of color theory when dying their hair. Turned out cute still!

The theory that 20 volume will lift slightly is true but only when in relation to virgin hair. Tint doesn’t lighten tint 😊

I once dyed my hair aqua in the front, purple on the sides, and blue in the back. It was short. I think I used splat. As time passed, the purple and blue didn't fade, but the aqua faded to a really bright green. It was pretty but it wasn't for me.
