  • Today we head over to Grimms Garage in Salem NJ, for arguably the most important Upgrade you can have on your Harley Bagger, Then we make our way to Get Lowered Cycles where Mike has set up another performance bagger for me as a special favor, and boy I can't wait to get on this beast of a bagger.

    This is the first channel I’ve seen who is actually building a performance bagger!
    Everyone slaps in a cam and set of legends and thinks they have a custom bike.
    I like that you are prioritizing handling and high speed stability.
    Looking forward to seeing more of your builds.

      I mean, honestly you’re right that’s what most people do. I’m hoping to really see a difference. According to the research I’ve done it should make a significant difference although the bike handles great already, there should be improvement that’s noticeable from what I’ve been told.

    No worries it’s all good, in all honesty. I rode the bike once with the factory handlebars, and it was from the Indian dealership where I got the exhaust and intake done to Get Lowered for them to do the T bars and other mods. So for me it wasn’t really hard and to be honest I really only look at the tack once in a while the rest of the time I go by the sound of the motor that’s just how I ride I guess.

    The Sawicki exhaust that is on your Challenger is their standard mid-length system... NOT the Lloydz Sawicki that Lloyd Greer designed. You can easily spot the difference between the two exhaust by the rear primary shape and size. The Lloydz Sawicki mid-length 2:1 has stepped primaries, and a wider bend than they standard Sawicki 2:1 exhaust. I took my Challenger to Lloydz Garage @ Sturgis this year and had their Street Performance cams, CNC port-matched billet intake manifold, Lloydz Sawicki 2:1 exhaust, and custom tune installed. Bike made 140hp and 130trq... she really moves out!

    • @Baggersandbs
      @Baggersandbs  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’ll have to look into that. I bought it through the Sawicki link on their TH-cam video. Maybe I got screwed.

      @@glencross4461 because I’m not down there for him during the alignment on my CVO, I spoke to him last night, and I will be doing an additional video where we can watch the entire process of him using the Rack And Pull industry, straight shooter and the equalizer. I want to be able to show exactly what he does and how he measures everything Emily Lyons everything in a separate video so we got you covered on that.

    I would probably say wait and definitely test ride a CVO and if that’s not in your price range, I would definitely wait till Indian comes up with some thing to challenge the new a new CVO performance wise I just have a feeling they are going to step up their game in the Werner future and improve their bagger line. I just can't get over the "Polaris" or Plastic look to the motor shape...... It looks like a sport bike motor in shape of V twin.... But that's my opinion.... I respect they are making these bikes and giving options. It really does get old seeing Harley motors time after time after time...... There are certainly some things that people change to be different but for the most part the Harley M8 or TC all just kind of the same thing

    • @Baggersandbs
      @Baggersandbs  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, I have to say I do understand where you’re coming from and, the best part of all of this is we get to examine everybody’s opinion, and everybody gets to post their opinion. Which for me is the fun part of all of this. I don’t get offended by it and I don’t think anybody else should either, but it is what it is when they do lol. I’ll actually be making a video in reference to the subject in the near future as well. But I appreciate your comment and totally see where you’re coming from.

    HARLEY DOESN'T WOBBLE UNLESS SOMETHING'S WRONG. THEY CHANGED THE FRAME IN 2009 FOR A REASON.

    • @Baggersandbs
      @Baggersandbs  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, they may have change the frame, but again that is not the only determining factor. It also has to do with the location of the shocks, as well as how that real swingarm is linked to the rest of the frame. I appreciate your comments and thoughts, but I believe that there is a little bit more research to be done, as I did before I posted this.

      Every mechanical device will fail at some point. I respect @Baggersandbs for testing the limitations of these motorcycles. 99% will never ride to the limits of their motorcycle. This channel is for those who understand motorcycles, want performance, and find solutions.

  • @tax905972
    @tax905972 ปีที่แล้ว

    IM CONFUSED. YOU CHANGED EVERYTHING ON THE BIKE WITH AFTERMARKET PARTS,THAN YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT HARLY ENGINEERING.

    • @Baggersandbs
      @Baggersandbs  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No one is complaining about Harley engineering at all. I’m simply stating the fact that many people get wobbles, regardless, whether in stock or modified. The gentleman that I have spoken to have both been trained by MMI. They themselves have stated that Harley used to have an adjustable link upfront. They have gone away from that. I’m gonna have to respectfully disagree with you as far as the wobble only happening due to frame damage. Because there are other factors that cause the frame to be, misaligned. If you’d like, you could reach out to Al at Rack And Pull Industries in California so he can explain in detail. or you can reach out to Josh at Grimms Garage in Salem New Jersey. That is where I’ve got my information from. Again, not everybody rides a Harley as aggressively as I do or as some of my friends do. Therefore, you may not get that wobble when pushing your bike.
