      @zmeeds17 2 ปีที่แล้ว +65

      @@untamednme869 it could be a number of different things. From the sounds of it, it seems to be coming from the crank/bottom bracket area. Especially with the insane power he is putting through the pedals. That is just from what I hear in the video though. But after nearly 20 years in the bike biz, I know that a creak can come from anywhere and be a pain to diagose and solve.

      @@dietherviado sooooo many customers that would come in with a creaky "bottom bracket" and about 50% of the time it was coming from somewhere other than there. Headset, seatpost, rear wheel not tight enough, creaky spokes, just to name a few. Worst were those you thought you found the creak and got rid of it, give the bike back to the customer and they come back a week later and say it is back again. "Well, we know it wasn't "x" part now. On to the next part to diagnose." 🤣

      Doesn't sound like the BB to me, but it is definitely occurring in both the big ring and small ring on Safa's bike in sync with his cadence. It honestly just sounds like the RD indexing is out and the chain is rubbing on the next largest cog.

    Those hoods on the BMC are insane. I don't know how slanting those so much can be comfortable

      It's about getting narrow and aero. Since the bars are integrated, I don't think they go narrow enough

    I want to do these sort of cycling journeys with my mates at some point and just enjoy the environment (nature etc) & of course speed of my road bike.

    The way they keep leap-frogging each other on the final descent really shows the advantage of riding in the draft.

    Wish there were more drop rides in my area / in group ride culture in general. Valuable training, fun fast riding outside of road racing BS, and would probably get more elites participating knowing they aren’t gonna have 30+ minutes of stopped time on a regroup style ride.

    Recently tried a similar climb in Northern, GA. Generally, the same specs...must have been the Floridian in me but like Taylor, I had to call it quits after a short while. The climb was absolutely gruesome.
