@@nguyenhongan Speak for yourself. It's called hand-eye coordination for a reason. How can you physically react to something if your eyes are struggling to keep up? Some people like me even have a weak muscle in one of their eyes (can lead to a lazy eye), which is what exercises like these tend to be made for.
This warm up is the best way to prepare your eyes for fps games. There was a flaw tho, the screen turned from black to white and really hurt my eyes for like 5 minutes. Maybe next time have the background color fade into the next warm up?
What helped me with the slow ones was blinking each focus after focusing faster and more efficiently. The arrow one was difficult, and didn’t understand it too well, but all around, making this practice makes perfect. This is a great test, great job 👏

Yo that eye training really helped with my warzone gameplay. And that was just viewing like 5 minutes of it. Definitely using this everyday when i wake up in the morning
First I did it with my cursor because I find it more practical, second Nice video ngl I found the flow and was able to do it very roboticly, steady movement
This is harder than I thought. After a while, I find my attention, and eventually my eyes dozing off somewhere else and I have to exert conscious effort to prevent that. I'm not even a bad at shooter games. For measurement, I platinumed PS4 Horizon Zero Dawn in Ultra Hard without reticle under 200 hours. Not an exceptional feat but still pretty good. Anyone know what this might mean?
Probably because in real life we don’t focus on one thing for that long. Even when playing shooters u rely a lot more on ur peripheral vision to detect other players and only really look at someone whom u are actively fight or at ur health and stuff. But the process of actually identifying and object or enemy is usually peripheral and only after do u focus on that. So ur eyes r blurring to see more and also probably because they r getting tired. Using electronics in general makes u blink less and trying to track the ball just makes that worse
I'm training to play as a competitive sniper in Fortnite, here is some stuff i learned, i hope it's helpful. When i started practicing, I always thought that the hardest part was the shot, it turns out... It is not. In real life sure it is but, here with a few fast calculations and muscle memory you can land one almost instantly, the tricky bit is the spotting. Don't worry for your accuracy, you are developing it constantly with each player you eliminate. Sometimes you have to look for targets in a zone crowded with buildings, trees and junk that blocks your vision, that's where you need to defocus your eyes, to get your peripherial vision to work and look for the slightest movements, colors or shapes that don't belong to the landscape. This also works when YOU are spotted, if you don't realize someone might have seen you, and you do nothing about it, it's going to cost you the match. My advice is to first learn to be aware of your sorroundings, then, you can practice locking on to something. This way you are going to be able to survive more and, by consequence, you are going to spend more time in the field gaining experience. Look for videos that have several things moving at the same time, try to average their positions and then flick between them as fast as you can. It was very helpful to me, you should try it too!
when i play kovaaks I try to link my eye movement to my hands so whatever my eye is doing, my hand is trying to replicate and follow that movement. It helps!

A lot of the time it was focusing on something kind of like the video shows but they were put out as a game for children to follow not sure what else they did because I was so young back then but I know it helped me in the long run. I like to think of myself as an above average FPS player but holy hell I actually found some of these more difficult than I thought. I have pretty damn good eye-sight too. I noticed that I track ahead wayyyy too much, and that actually focusing on the object (rather than where I think it’s going to go) kinda hurt my eyes, lol. But I do kinda feel sensitive to differences in FPS (i can totally tell a night and day difference between 120+ compared to 60). I actually think this might help with my tracking though - so I’m gonna stick with it and report back in a couple of weeks lol. Flicking between targets was super easy though. But i’ve always felt like I was pretty good at that to be honest.
Not surprised that even stoned I can track rather well. Most likely because when I stream games I'll go as long as 7 hours 😭 a day...so with that while playing apex, overwatch 2 or even COD, these seemed beneficial. I didn't even know there was a warm up for such thanks
This video taught me why I'll never be good at FPS games. My eyes snap to where I expect the dot to end up, instead of tracking it. I kept trying to follow it, but I just couldn't do it. This explains why I have so much trouble with smooth mouse movements.
hoyl shit, i just realised what my problem is with aiming by just watching this, I instantly assume it's end point hence why I am so bad at tracking and one tapping, i always take my first shot where I know they'll end up when they're not even there yet if that makes sense
It's rly interesting to see, when I focus more the balls stutter way more then when I'm focused less. Now I have a desicion to make. A bit further away I can react faster but also I obv focus more when I'm sitting closer. Which way is better :D? Eighter getting faster with the same focus or getting faster while mentaining better focus?
Straight fax. I guess if you wanted to (given enough time and motivation), you could recreate this in AimLabs or Kovaak's and it would then render at native FPS, but I found AimLabs' level editor to be a pain in the ass to use. I need to suggest several features that would make life so much easier in that editor. For example, a short tutorial on how to move in and navigate the editor would be nice. It took me 10 minutes (more like an hour, probably) to figure out that moving myself required me to hold down M2 while using WASD. As to why it took me that long, that's because using the scroll wheel moves you back and forth rather than changing your FOV, so I could just look in the direction I wanted to go and use the scroll wheel to go there.
There are a lot of videos like this aimed at treating lazy eye. If you search "Eye Exercises to Improve Vision / Lazy eye Training" you'll find a video that's 60fps. The targets on that video are a lot bigger though. You might be better off hopping into an aim trainer, picking a task with fast moving & small targets, and just tracking them with your eyes instead of focusing too hard on tracking it with your mouse/stick . Aimlabs lets you modify existing tasks, so you can pick something like "Ninja Shot" and decrease the size and increase the speed. Edit: Ottr's original video: "This *NEW* Aim Guide Changes Aim Training FOREVER | School Of The Ottr Guides, Tips & Tricks" is actually in 60fps already. If you want 120fps+ an aim trainer would still be good tho.

@@BashFisk I'm not a fighting game guy by any means but if i had to guess id assume for reacting as fast as possible to an enemies moves. This warm up is the best way to prepare your eyes for fps games. There was a flaw tho, the screen turned from black to white and really hurt my eyes for like 5 minutes. Maybe next time have the background color fade into the next warm up?
yeah, or just lower the contrast between the colors :)

Nah, the main issue is the framerate. It hurts my eyes. This video should at east be in 60 FPS.
I played the video at 1.5 speed 😅 just a habit of mine
What helped me with the slow ones was blinking each focus after focusing faster and more efficiently. The arrow one was difficult, and didn’t understand it too well, but all around, making this practice makes perfect. This is a great test, great job 👏
the arrow one was the easiest to me cuz i used to do that while playing osu!

It should be a fully conscious exercise. This is not an automatic exercise. But you're likely a patient of ADHD and react only to engaging stimuli
@@Ambipie Makes sense. lose focus for even a split second and the dot is somewhere totally different.
This made me realise that up-down movement is very easy for me but left-right takes some struggle. I didn't know this about myself
this made me realize just how much instead of actually tracking something I often try to predict where its going kinda crazy

🤣
As someone with ADHD, this is the hardest thing I've ever done in my life and I lasted like 4 seconds
It was very helpful to me, you should try it too!

what kind of exercises did they make you do? my eyes r super bad and i’m trying to find ways to recover :(
@@beginnerboss1777 all sorts of them! I was pretty young back then so its hard for me to remember but I do remember somethings like they would cover one eye sometimes and do exercises turned into games, they basically train both of your eyes. They also did eye movements a lot (i hated those the most they strained my eyes lol) and stuff to chech your depth preception. A lot of the time it was focusing on something kind of like the video shows but they were put out as a game for children to follow
not sure what else they did because I was so young back then but I know it helped me in the long run. Though one thing you can do to strengthen your eyes is read
Narrator: Make sure to take a break if your eyes feel tired.
Anime watchers: Naw no stopping, no blinking.
This still be easier to keep your eye on than that mosquito flying around in the middle of the night at 200 km/h.
I feel sick brain exhausted great work out for the eyes for sure for people unsure if it works You have to focus and really want to learn tracking you’ll see when you are tracking the balls they jitter while moving its your brain catching up the flicks are simple if you see the balls your flicking them have good posture sit centre of screen.
Protip: watch on 2x speed for superpowers

Not surprised that even stoned I can track rather well. Most likely because when I stream games I'll go as long as 7 hours 😭 a day...so with that while playing apex, overwatch 2 or even COD, these seemed beneficial. I didn't even know there was a warm up for such thanks
This video taught me why I'll never be good at FPS games.
My eyes snap to where I expect the dot to end up, instead of tracking it.
I kept trying to follow it, but I just couldn't do it.
This explains why I have so much trouble with smooth mouse movements.
Dude, the low FPS is killing my eyes. Could you please make a reupload of this at 60 FPS?
hoyl shit, i just realised what my problem is with aiming by just watching this,
I instantly assume it's end point hence why I am so bad at tracking and one tapping, i always take my first shot where I know they'll end up when they're not even there yet if that makes sense
i realised i have the same issue as you now. Gotta work on it to improve my tracking. When i try to track the balls it looks blurry to me

A bit further away I can react faster but also I obv focus more when I'm sitting closer. Which way is better :D? Eighter getting faster with the same focus or getting faster while mentaining better focus?

Small computer monitor probably 24"
I would say probably just whatever you use for gaming would be best
it's good but I wish it was higher fps. the ghosting from the faster moving ones is really uncomfortable to look at
Straight fax.
How do I know if my eyes are actively tracking the targets? For most of the scenarios I don't sense much straining to focus on the moving targets? They're still in focus but aside from certain flicks to the right I don't feel like my eyes are tracking that much
