This is certainly a very pivotal moment of the channel(s). I must say though, it's also a very crucial moment to choose your next steps very carefully. I think that the downfall of legacy media is when they grew too big, they involved too many people and stakeholders to the point that it's almost impossible to "stay objective". What's also concerning is when everyone is under the same umbrella, then that umbrella could have taken control of the narrative. "Independent media" holds a lot of value nowadays exactly because they are independent. Alone, to some degree. When they grow too big involving way too many people, it's hard to consider them independent. The sense of relatable might diminish sharply. I hope it doesn't come to that.
I'd love a five o clock news channel. Covering recent events about global news (and maybe even a local news one) but that covers important stories in an engaging way. Not just doing what mainstream news does, just cover gossip and speculate about what it means.
When it comes to daily and breaking news mainstream media are still the primary sources because they have the resources and infrastructure. Unfortunately, of course, they could cover speculations as raw events are basically unfolding. And unfortunately, social media news are not free from gossips, speculations and bias as well.

One idea, which is more of a local (country) issue here in UK but also across europe in spots of farmers being forced out of their roles. The legacy being sold just because either government wants more taxes from these hard working group or price them out by over means including inflating value for chemicals and land value etc.... Not sure about the US but this is a rising awareness here in UK and across europe where a food actually is made and not just imported from far away places because it's cheaper

I found this channel while researching for MUN debates. Your approach is perfect for that, and your content helped me and many of my students win debates by modeling the right way to research and explore complex topics. Nobody's perfect, but you're damn close and I appreciate you all.
I really want to see more investigations into the history and future of science and technology. An investigation that is rigorous and objective but propagates wonder and inspiration. An organization called the Roots of Progress Institute may serve as an introduction to this set of ideas.
