I think these look like decent lights. Taking a look at the website plant photonics give you the actual output wattage of the light. Most competetors will only give you the "draw from the wall" wattage where you can only guess the loss at the driver or the consumption of active cooling fans.
But I never take serious the "equivalent hps watts".
It seems that pretty much everyone is taking the oldest and most inefficient hps to compare his super new led tech to. Remember that hps have come a long way. Double ended 1000W hps (600W being near) have nearly double the efficiency of 400W hps, and low energy (like 150W, 250W) are even worse than 400W.
I would really like ppf or ppf/d measurments instead.
I very much support multiple lower-watt lights instead of one big one given the price doesn't explode.
    - support different hanging hights for different sizes
    - shut of sectors of the tent if some plants needed to be culled early and the tent doesn't get full
    - one broken light can be compensated giving time to replace it as the other X lights will still work

Hi, glad I helped! Our lights only run 10C to 15C warmer than the air temperature - I will guarantee that! You can easily tell the led temperature as the top of the light IS the led circuit board! By eliminating the case/box around everything, making the circuit board huge compared to the power rating of the light and using the circuit board itself the heatsink you get extreme cooling ability. Even our first series of lights from 10+ years ago are still working, I recently sold some lights to one of my first ever customers - he still has the old lights in perfect working order and is now using them for cloning and vegging and the new lights for flowering.

If you are using a light as a supplement in a greenhouse, in all honesty maximum efficiency isnt really all that important. You also want it to have a small footprint so it doesnt shade you plants from the sun. I would suggest using a cob led mounted directly to a pin heatsink. Contact me via email through the Plant Photonics website and I can suggest solutions and a good supplier. also check out my video on choosing white leds for growlights.

Hi, what do you think of the Mars Hydro ts1000? They don't have a very good reputation but very cheap. Have you ever tried one?

Might want to take a look at the channel 'Migro'. They are quite efficient although not in the top bracket. What nobody can answer as they are very new: "will they last longer than the old ones?'.
The bad rep is mostly due to low life expectancy and subpar customer service (like sending you replacement leds and letting you solder them in yourself instead of replacing the light).
