- It is October and that means that Halloween is almost upon us! We will celebrate this spooky month with plenty of horror games! To start things off I wanted to add a game to the archives that sadly is no longer worked on. SCP Unity is a remake inspired by SCP Containment Breach but made in the Unity engine. This means that it has that suspenseful and tense gameplay of the old SCP game, but this time with way better graphics. Though the game by now has been abandoned it has received a multitude of updates over the years it was in development and offers some great gameplay, visuals and of course plenty of SCPs! From iconic ones to brand new additions! It was great to broaden the lore and stories of the SCP universe and it was also a welcome addition that not every SCP in this game is out trying to get you. Nothing is more relaxing than taking a breather in the capsule where the origami dragons fly to a soothing melody. A calm before the storm, because before you know it another hostile SCP is coming after you!

I seriously hope that it can be un-canceled. This would've been the most detailed SCP game out there for a long time - even after being canceled, the level of detail the developers tried to perfect wiped SCP: Containment Breach and SCP: Secret Lab out of the market. I hope in the future some lucky company re-opens the project.
I don't think anyone can since the rights and property of SCP Unity belong with Zornor, the Dev who cancelled the project and bailed with all the money and licenses under his name.
Well if they can’t pick up development where it left off, I hope someone can make a new one

@@Holloaway All SCP projects must function under a creative commons licence. Zornor doesn't own SCP Unity, and if he claimed he did, he would be committing a copyright violation.

@@Diem0nd8 the lead developer started having a bunch of stress related health problems + the ingeneral chaos of 2020 and beginning of 2021 caused him to drop off the project.
Sad yes but ultimately aslong as he's doing good that's all that matters.

They Aren’t Even Supposed To Be Futuristic Like This, So I Have No Clue Why The Doors Are Sci-Fi-ey, Also SCP Was Made In The Early 2000’s Which It Has So Many Grainy Sites. Which Honestly, I Think Fits The Tone A Lot Better Like Containment Breach.

@@CigaretteHusbandWithin the context of SCP Foundation lore, there's no set/specific way a Foundation facility is meant to look, I'll be honest. There's varying canons, tales, skips, and realities, all with a multitude of different takes on the visualization of a Foundation facility. As far as we're concerned a Foundation facility can look like the one in the original Containment Breach, the one in this updated Unity version, and/or everything in between, we don't know, they can look like anything, it just depends one's interpretation.
The game had nice looking graphics which made it look promising. It sucks that it was cancelled.

Such a shame this got canceled, I can only imagine the true potential and possibilities of this project. What certain anomalies, items, MTFs, GoIs, and easter eggs/references would've looked like in this newer, more modern updated iteration. It's a real shame

"Health" issues was just a smoke bomb to flee and escape with the money of the people. If that was "true" he would have left another person in charge instead of deleting everything

It kills by either snapping your neck or strangling you. If you lay down and look away Peanut might just move on top of your head or neck.

It was an excuse for leaving and running with the money. Post surfaced that the main developer was dating or was in a relationship with his biggest patreon supporter. "Health" issues was just a smoke bomb go steal and flee with the money we donated. If his "issues" were real he would have left another in charge indtead of deleting all social media. Patreon. Discord, etc
