I like how jack goes straight into the most dangerous place in the game gets the most useful items and doesn’t die. If you read this jack you are officially the luckiest SCP player yet
Rence jigger Baybin The funny thing about that and spoilers but there’s an ending to this game where I think the administrator says that your character survived the toughest situations like you had already encountered them and wants to classify you as an scp
I don't think Jack realizes how lucky he is to escape the pocket dimension and 049's chamber. It's almost impossible for new players to do that. I would love for this to be a series
A brief primer on SCP object classes: -Safe means easily contained. These can still be dangerous, but won’t actively try to do anything or escape if capable. (If you put it in a box and leave it alone, it will stay there.) -Euclid means somewhat difficult to contain. Most SCPs qualify as this, especially ones that are capable of advanced thought. (If you put it in a box and leave it alone, it might try to escape.) -Keter means extremely difficult to contain. A lot of these ones are dangerous and pose an immediate threat should they escape. (If you put it in a box and leave it alone, it will escape and will likely be very difficult to put back.) -Thaumiel means it’s used to contain other SCPs. (It is the box.) There are other classes, but they’re less common.
I love how Jack didn’t know anything so whenever something happens that SCP fans would recognize and be like “oh sh*t run.” He’s just kinda like “oh that’s cool”.

He didn't collect the paper on the floor in there either, so he doesn't have that code!! And @Angel Dust actually, not ALL of the other ways out are instadeath, some of them are just difficult little weird platforming things. But OF COURSE HE WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE THE DAMN NIGHT VISION GOGGLES WHEN HE WENT IN AND HE TOTALLY AVOIDED THE SWINGING TRAPS, SERIOUSLY!? WHAT IS THAT LUCK!? XD
The goddamn feeling of tension, atmosphere and suspense in this game is INCREDIBLE. Even tiny things like an elevator not responding immediately become nerve-wracking.
When i play SCP-CB i always leave doors open as I go so I basically have a path to follow in case there is something I need to go back for and so i don't get lost. I know the navigator is a thing i just suck with it lol
Jack: “SCP-049, kind of a jerk.” Ironically, 049 is actually rather polite. In fact, the main, if not the only, reason why he isn’t a keter class is because he is so affable. While he will try to escape if he gets the chance, once the Foundation catches him, he returns to his cell quietly, without a fight.
Aah yes. Watching some old Septiceye when I should be making histograms, graphs, and scatter plots with an assignment dataset. Delaying stress never felt so good
Despite not knowing a damn thing about this, I cannot believe how lucky he was with everything that was happening. You got out of SCP-106's dimension on your first try, you got the hand out of the basement, I cannot freaking believe. I've seen people have so much trouble with that yet you did it on your first playthrough.
i never escaped 106's dimension xd, the problem now is that 049 is gonna always be after Sean and with 173, 106 and 049 always chasing it's almost impossible to win xd
My brother use to play this DAILY and it was sooooo annoying he would die every time and that noise gave me night mares and even now I’m older I will get them nightmares 😰 I can still see all the rooms and everything u must do to “finish the game” 😭😂
No, this is false. Safe SCPs normal don't escape, if they are provocated there can be a anomaly effect being triggered, resulting it escape. (For example, if you give 999 Coffe, it will be like Sonic and annoy everyone.)
@@pentecost_crystal but SCP 999 will just Annoy everyone not attempt to escape I know that he is just an example but the foundation is good enough to keep it contained
Safe is basically you can put it there and it requires no maintenance. Euclid is it requires maintenance sometimes and need to be cleaned. Keter is constant maintenance and constant watching. I know there is two more one is it is the containment box and another one is it cant be contained at all
Lisa Schmiel SCP-939 i believe, mimics the sound of humans and other creatures to find you, also when you crouch they can’t see you unless you get right in their face
"The creature must be stared at at all times by at least two people as a safety measure" Jack: Proceeds to stand in front of one of the guys doing the staring, blocking his view and staring at his face.
This HAS to be a series. You've started out pretty well, getting through 106's dimension on your first try, getting the hand to bypass 049's cell. Anyway, you're right about the tesla gate, you approach it, listen for the power up sound and back up, it'll activate and then you can run through it. Also, make a habit of blinking before opening doors because 173 can be a real prick at times.
I find the SCP concept absolutely *fascinating* but I've never had the time to get into it. I'm planning on starting to read the SCP entries, starting at 001. Is there anything I should know before I get into it?
So 001 is the introduction to making your own theories, sort of. Interesting! I'll probably try reading a couple and then move on, so thanks for the advice! :D
I watched a good portion of Markiplier's videos on this and let me tell you that you are the luckiest person lol: you escaped Radical Larry's hell void first time through knowing nothing about any of it, and you survived 173 to boot. Hats off and standing ovation my friend.
Scp 049 is a plague doctor of the time of the bubonic plague and he claims to cure people. When "curing" you he will actually turn you into a sort of zombie (scp 049-2). These zombies are hostile towards any human
Non-Spoiling Advice: Jack, some SCPs are really really helpful so much that it can help you against other SCPs. Safe does NOT mean that it's not harmful or deadly just that it is contained or 'safe' to be in it's prescene. Like the skull, it's safe to be around it but just don't touch it or things happen. Don't save too often because you might get stuck in a difficult part to escape (for example, in the pocket dimension). DO try out every SCP out, even the deadly ones, but make sure to safe before. They are interesting to interact with. !! Important!! Read the documents (at least the important bits) because they're very helpful AND you don't have to be looking at the door buttons to open them. You'll be prompted to press the button if your back is to the button and you're close enough. This will be VERY helpful against Big Baby when he starts being extra friendly.
Literally any other Doctor in the area: Oh sh- (edit) oh my god i thought you were talking about one of the characters: Dr. Jack Bright. it literally sounds like something he'd do ngl!

SCP: Containment is something you have to study. Literally. You must know every encounter you come across and how to use some SCP's as your advantage. It's a better experience going in blind jack. Cause you'll find things extremely fascinating once you put things together. Also I love how Jack was correct with the Tesla gates. But didn't work.
With the Tesla Gates: Right?? He was injured from his encounter with Radical Larry (i refuse to call him anything else) and was super slow and he didn't realize he needs to just step on the yellow section and duck back then RUN forward xD He'll figure it out though, with time. It's part of why they have the scene of the scientist running through the tesla gate, teaching moment. He REALLY needs to read all the papers, though, if he's not going to do research outside the game itself. He also left the Level 4 Keycard down in 049's area, literally like one of the most important items in the game because he died when he first went down. I was SO EXCITED to see him reach that elevator because I knew 049 was gonna come out of it, and when I realized he'd used his sprint before getting there, i went "yup u ded boi." And he'll never get anywhere until he learns how to use the Machine SCP, either, because you p much need at least a level 5 card to get out, and really one should contain Larry to avoid his bullshit, too, so. I'm guessing this run won't be a win for him xD.
JACK READ THIS!!! - For the lizard thingies that talk like humans, CROUCH!! - You can save thanks to the TV screens! - Be Always on the move!!! - Do NOT look at SCP 096 in the eyes - Never blink when SCP 173 is near - Your objective is to escape but to do that you need to complete tasks, you need to talk to the computer - Stay away from the black spots on the floor cus Larry can spawn there and kill you, if he spawns RUN AWAY! .. or find an electric gate to make him disappear! - Find keycards !! - Get batteries for your night vision! - Get a gas mask cus its gonna be important for a lot of times in the game! - Do NOT trust ANYTHING in the game cus anything can be a SCP and can kill you - Listen for every little sound cus it may let you know which SCP's near you! - Get a map, fast ! - Read the notes about the SCPs! They give a lot of good infos on them! Good luck Jack!
scp: cb is such a uniquely fun game that it doesnt matter if the graphics are old, its still incredibly fun to play. the gameplay is generally exciting and good.
Poor Jack, he has NO IDEA what he's in for. Here's a few ground rules/tips Jack! 1. Close all doors behind you so you can't be snuck up on. 2. Beware going to the sub levels! They are hella dangerous! 3. The big fleshless things (SCP-939) can't talk but they CAN mimic things their victims say just before death to lure in new victims. Thus the "who's there?", "oh, it's you", "I thought I'd lost you for a second", and horrible screams of death. 4. Most SCPs have a file nearby explaining them. I highly recommend you read them. If you find a clip board you can stack those papers on it, saving yourself inventory space. 5. The SCP designations you see on placards are danger warning levels. The levels are Safe (safely contained but CAN possibly still kill you.), Euclid (unpredictable danger level, usually sentient), Keter (extremely dangerous and hard to contain), Thaumiel (an SCP used to contain other SCPs), Neutralized (have been rendered safe, contained, or destroyed) 6. You CAN get passed the shock gate by getting just close enough to set it off, backing up quickly, and then gunning it once it's discharged. It is extremely useful against SCPs that are chasing you. 7. That other world you woke up in injured? That's SCP-106, also known as Radical Larry by the fandom. You didn't see him because you stepped on him. He'll appear in patches of darkness and stalk you relentlessly until he touches you and teleports you to his realm where he will hunt you. You have to find the way out. 8. There are 3 endings in the game based on your actions and which gate you exit. Good luck Jack!
@@rajkrish19 Apollyon isn't considered an official object class. It's used more as a warning label added to specific Keters to bring attention to the fact that this thing is uncontrollable and WILL eventually break free and kill everything. It's only a matter of time and opportunity. As far as I'm aware, though, the game itself never uses that warning label, just the official object classes.
Why do people like to give so many tips? He won't remember it all, and watching him struggle is fun, let him figure out the game, if he wanted to know everything he'd literally look it up. I'm not trying to be mean I just don't understand the appeal, if you want to see someone who knows everything about the game, go watch battleforge or something, I think most people want to see him learn on his own and struggle
@@imgafu3258 New to Jack's channel? When he's struggling on a game this early in a playthrough he almost always asks for tips from the comments. If you go on to episode two that aired a few hours ago you'll see him ask exactly that at the end of the vid. I've been a Jack fan for nearly his whole career so I'm pretty good at telling when he'll likely want tips and when he will want to just figure it out himself
I used to watch you when I was 12. Watching your videos then made coping with life easier because I had someone awesome to look up to. I’m back again, 6 years later, on a really bad day and I’m glad I did. I’m 18 and you’re still one of my favorite TH-camrs. Thank you Jack.
@@marcc6775 not really. Nowadays, there’s a new classification system which gets used more often than not. It’s more complicated than the original one.
The first scp to kill you in the hallway was scp 939 which is also named "the one with many voices". It can say things but it's blind and can only sense the noise you make. When encountering one, make as less noise as possible and try to get away from it quietly
"Oh, I suppose all the other SCP's you give hugs and kisses" SCP-999, the Tickle Monster, loves people, cures depression with it's gooey ticklish touch, will try to protect you from harm, and is playful like a puppy. It's the cinnamon roll of SCPs. There's also SCP-131, the Eye-pods, who you in particular would love. They're like house cats.
Personally, I would love to see this become a series. There's actually quite a bit to learn about this game and it becomes really fun when you know how to counter certain SCP's. While it's not necessary, I would also recommend reading the documents in their entirety. The backstory is often really interesting and can sometimes provide additional hints about how to counter the SCP. Good luck and have fun!
bubble bath thre is around five thousand of them though, so I recommend watching you tubers like the “exploring series” do you can listen to them during break
You can beat the game. There are two ways out. “Safe” objects won’t hurt you unless you touch them “Euclid” class is sentient, and can chase you, but can be pretty easily dealt with “Keter” are the most dangerous. There are ways of containing them, and you’ll want to, because they are big problems. You can get through the Tesla-Gates if you step on the activation zone and quickly back up. It takes a bit to cool down. You can also lure some SCPs through the gates to stun them. I hope you keep playing this! This game is great, and you’re one of my favorite gaming TH-camrs. [Edit] to all the people “correcting” the info I gave in my comment, I was merely referring to the classes as they appear in the game. For the safe class the general rule in-game is don’t mess with it and it won’t mess with you.
Not all Safe class SCP hurt you when you touch it in the game. Example would be SCP-914... I'm not gonna say what it does just in case Jack reads your extremely helpful information as I don't want to spoil the best thing in the game.
Hannah Wren that’s not what the classifications mean. Close but not really. Those classifications are just about how easily they can be contained, not how dangerous they are, and the general rule of thumb is as follows: Safe: You can lock them in a Box and it will be sufficiently contained. Euclid: You can lock them up, but you don’t know if just leaving them there will properly contain them, mostly because they are not well understood. Keter: Containing them is very difficult, and chances are that just locking them up is not enough, since they will be able to break out if not constantly taken care of. Could also just be uncontainable all together
My man really just, casually escaped his first trip into 106 pocket dimension, teleports into Heavy Containment bypassing an entire area of the game and just out of sheer luck has the one severed hand that can prevent him from being softlocked. Wow.

Question. Isn't SCP 096, canonically dead?
I can't wait for him to meet 096
Kyle Warren he’s practically immortal
The levels are Safe (safely contained but CAN possibly still kill you.), Euclid (unpredictable danger level, usually sentient), Keter (extremely dangerous and hard to contain), Thaumiel (an SCP used to contain other SCPs), Neutralized (have been rendered safe, contained, or destroyed)
Rivkah Song what about class Apollyon
@@rajkrish19 Apollyon isn't considered an official object class. It's used more as a warning label added to specific Keters to bring attention to the fact that this thing is uncontrollable and WILL eventually break free and kill everything. It's only a matter of time and opportunity. As far as I'm aware, though, the game itself never uses that warning label, just the official object classes.
Rivkah Song okay
So basically 049 made him into a 049-2, that's why he got shot? I've never seen this before. Usually people just die from the touch.

You can beat the game. There are two ways out.
“Safe” objects won’t hurt you unless you touch them
“Euclid” class is sentient, and can chase you, but can be pretty easily dealt with
“Keter” are the most dangerous.
And Appolyon and thaumiel though not in the games
@@NoOne-sb4tc I was gonna say those two classes but they aren't in game sadly.
He's pretty much already half-way to either ending because he's already got a Level 4 Keycard.
Hannah Wren that’s not what the classifications mean. Close but not really. Those classifications are just about how easily they can be contained, not how dangerous they are, and the general rule of thumb is as follows:
Safe: You can lock them in a Box and it will be sufficiently contained.
Wow.
