As someone who runs this build it is worth noting that while you do get 100%DR, some bosses do have one-shot mechanics that this won't prevent. An obvious one is Tempest Mephis finger snap.

The shield doesn't have to be on jianxin for the 0 damage reduction. So main dps jianxin with mortefi using heron and Verina/baizhi using the turtle also works.
Maybe. But unless it didn't work like this in previous iterations, they wouldn't since it's a straight up nerf. Nerfs in gacha games are pretty much unheard of because of gacha/gambling laws in other countries. You cannot change the product negatively after people have bought the character, since they're basically gambled on.

What did they discover? What is the current best rotation? Best teams? There is basically no info anywhere on the subject for main dps Jianxin rotations and best teams for example. It's like "How do I play Jianxin this way?" and the internet is like "Don't. Anyway, here's sub-DPS and Support Jianxin." I'm disappointed in this aspect of the video.

i feelike im going crazy, i have never seen my jianxin ulti pulls enemies like that, in fact i almost feel like the suction is so weak that mobs end up more split after i use it. what am i doing wrong?

you'll have to pick which outro buff you'd want for jiyan. correct me if i'm wrong, but their outro buff will only lasts for 14s OR if you switch the buffed resonator (in your case, Jiyan). i haven't tested whether Jianxin's outro will work for Mortefi's ult when you switch to Jiyan tho. i suggest using Sanhua instead because her outro buffs Jianxin's rotation until her concerto's filled up. take this with a grain of salt.
Prydwen should have a different recommended stats for suport jianxin. They only have stats for main dps i think because they recommended crit rate or damage for 4 cost echos and only 40-50% energy regen instead of 80%

So the 100% damage reduction is just for 3 hits💀 Yeah idk if I want to cater a whole build to that if I’m supposed to dodge/parry anyways. Some of the bosses do so much damage quickly that you are just not supposed to shield and survive.
This vid made me use Jianxin as a healer. Jianxin is a hidden gem. I’m using as a main healer and buffer so I can have a full on dps Calcharo and Yinlin. Build her a full rejuvenation set with turtle and Marcato for weapon. You’ll thank me later. She’s the wow disc priest of Wuwa

So ive got a question, would she work with yinlin + calcharo? Yinlin also provides a lightning dmg and liberation dmg boost to calchargo with her outro right? And since both yinlin and jianxin's outro buff goes away when you swap out calcharo, you cant just go from jianxin to calcharo to yinlin and back to calcharo since jianxin's outro buff will go away when you swap calcharo into yinlin so in the end only yinlin's outro buff is retained when you use resonance liberation on calcharo

When you switch to another character (from Jianxin to Calchero) is that character (Calchero) activating the outro skill for the character you just switched from (Jianxin)? Just confused on the wording, but if that's what they mean I understand how it works.
ive been using this line up from the start Jianxin (Moonlit) Sanhua (Ice, full burst cuz jianxin outro) and calc (Thunder) so far its pretty good but i need to get used with swaping between her and sanhua still unsure whats the rotation between these 3? any tips? thanks
Another application of damage reduction scaling is with Transformation Echoes. Transformation Echoes (vs summon echoes) seem to have a universal 50% damage reduction during transformation so you can just take 0 damage through a boss attack to get the buff from Inferno Rider's third hit for example.
I don't have her, but I hope one day to get a copy of her. Love her character and design. She is such great useful character for any team. Thanks for the guide Tim!

One of her cons increase range of ult and at the end of the ult, the explosion might scatter them a bit

Great guide as always! Shame is already a bit outdated, as they say its better to use the healer echo set and the 3* weapon that heals.
