WOW. Just the video I was looking for! I took 4 pages of notes; I'll be tackling adding a store/products to my site soon. Thanks so much for explaining this Squarespace feature; So helpful.
I'm not sure if you already created this video but you mentioned to comment it. May you give a tutorial on scheduling clients on Squarespace. I'm new to Squarespace and just developing my website which is live. I now want to allow customers to purchase downloadable and to purchase coaching programs.
Question: how can I handle inventory for particular size t-shirts ( one t-shirt design only but separate inventory numbers for each size ( ex: 100 small, 300 large, etc .. ) and ONLY pick-up available option ? No shipping at all as this is a one time sale at a particular convention ?
Do you have a video on Squarespace scheduling. I have a bakery and I'd like people to buy cakes but I need to be able to schedule one there picking them up and how many I can take her our per day. So this is a physical product but it needs scheduling time.
Thank you. Simple, clear, believable and sufficiently comprehensive. I leave this understanding what I can/need to do and what the impacts are. Costs, procedures etc. Mysteries solved; no fear of gotchas. I've been wanting to set up a photography portfolio and was considering sales as well. This helped. Somewhere I heard that you can also link to external services such as printique's photo printing and Squarespace will be fine with that. Can you confirm if this is true?
Hello Stephen, how would I set it up where a customer orders a giclee - the order then goes to my printer and I get notified that there is an order and he ships it from there?
Hi, thank you for this soooooo helpful video. One of my client really need a restaurant website and I wanted to use square for that… Please, is it possible for you, to show how to integrate square POS with squarespace as soon as possible because it is very urgent ? Thank you so much for all you’re doing for us
Hello Stephen... just came across this video thanks. Question.. can I sell a photo book I made with Blurb on my Square Space website? Let me rephrase, can I use the Blurb page where my photo book is on Blurb, so Blurb can drop ship to customer?
Can I ask something about Squarespace? We run some test buy on our site and it goes well. The thing is, after ordering and when we received the email, I click the button “View your order” it goes to the blank page. Do you have any idea how can get this fix?
One of the roadblocks I'm encountering with using Squarespace to sell digital products, is how to restrict sales to US based customers only, due to VAT collection/reporting, such as the UK. Most countries seem to have a threshold you must hit before you are required to collect VAT but the UK has no threshold. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!
Great Tutorial, I have a question? I am new to Squarespace. I have a online store with Weebly(squareup), Would I be able to create a button on the home page to direct them to the online store to order my products or would I need to create a store and upload the items via CSV. And does squarespace have a template to use.
You can certainly create a button on the Squarespace site that links to your other store. Not a problem. You can also import items via csv, and Squarespace has a template for that
Great Video I love this. Question. How do I upload Tons of photo's to sale. I have over 1000 Photos. I was thinking if I can upload all photo's at once and people can pick up to 3 or 4 photos of there choice to buy. Is there a feature on square space like this? I'm taking pictures of parties and events.
Thanks for watching! When it comes to selling digital products, the only way to bulk import them is by CSV file, and even then you would have to add an img URL where the image is hosted in the CSV spreadsheet. Individual items need to have a title, description and price. You could create 1,000 “variations” for one “product” and each variation is a different image, but that will be just as time consuming unfortunately.
@@beardfm OMG. And I was just invited to another event today to take tons of pictures. It’s gotta be away for me to simply just upload all photos for people to pick what they wanna buy. There’s no way I would have the time to upload picture by picture. There’s no picture Gallery there? Also let say today I’m shooting a wedding tomorrow a birthday party next day sports. I would need to separate each group event. Please tell me how you would handle something like this? Because there’s no need for me to join Square space if I can’t sale to my targeted audience.
Same question here! I am a sports and events photographer and have the same urge... There must be a solution, but it might not be Squarespace native.@@gatlinproduction
Hello I have a juice company and I’m trying to sell bulk items like 4/$30 and I want people to be able to choose which items they want. The problem I’m having is you can only have 250 variations and I don’t know how have people choose what they want. Is there a way to setup my store with a 4/$30 or 6/$40 style
Not with content pre-filled, but you can create those kinds of hidden pages (not in navigation) and just put small links in the footer of your website.
For that, you’ll have to upload a zip files. On Mac you can select multiple files, right click > archive. Then upload that zip file. On Windows I believe there’s also a zip or archive command.
Thank you for this incredible video I've created a square space website to sell 100 nature photographs It links to Printique company who will print and ship the photographs I'm not sure which plan I have, but I've offered free shipping for all photographs I don't know how to do the taxes I have a home address in New Mexico But I'm a part-time nomad and not there very often I think Printique also shipped to Canada I'm in desperate need of help I'm 75 and can't figure any of this out for the taxes and what plan I should be on and if I should use tax jar and if that's included in a plan Thank you so much M
Hi, I'm trying to import digital designs from a shopify csv to squarespace. It comes in as a physical product and I can not find a way to change it to digital (so I can add a digital downloadable file). Is this even possible? ty
I would try to download the Squarespace product import CSV template and then copy and paste the columns from Shopify spreadsheet. In the Squarespace template there should be a column that specifies digital or physical on import.
@@beardfm ty i just gave it a try and the error is that digital files must be entered manually. It has to be a service or physical in that row. Any other ideas? I don't even see a way to duplicate and just change the image and description. ty for your help!!

So what kind of happiness engineers do you have and it is the support immediate or do we have to wait 24 hours for a response like with WordPress?

I'm not sure exactly what services, but if you go to the "extensions" in your Squarespace dashboard you can see all the available integrations there!

You would have to send it in an email to all purchasers of that item. There’s no automatic updating like with a kindle or iBook book

How do you make sales?
I know the video was long ago but I connected my stripe account to Squarespace but I can not check out on stripe? how do I fix this
Is everything on the strip said active? You also need to start paying for your Squarespace subscription in order for the store to be "live"
To have these options, do you have to pay a monthly fee?
Yes it’s a subscription
How do I get notified when I make a sale in Squarespace?
You’ll get an email from Squarespace. May be going to junk if you don’t see it
Hello Stephen. Does Square space provide private policies and terms of condition pages?
Not with content pre-filled, but you can create those kinds of hidden pages (not in navigation) and just put small links in the footer of your website.

how to add more than one digital file for a single product?

I have a home address in New Mexico
But I'm a part-time nomad and not there very often

I don’t, sorry! You could find a Squarespace expert and pay them to create all the products. Depending on the number it may be pricey
