I love the windy days, watching the trees by my place sway in the wind is kind of mesmerizing. I'm glad you showed us about the track, I always wondered what that was used for. Such a cool property. Peaches is having fun around you. I like the question answer also. Take care Amanda, sounds like you have a cold, stay warm.
Hello Amanda and Peach ! You pick the very best music, so soothing and it makes me wish that I was there too🤗💞 I live in Cowichan Bay and the “Bomb Cyclone “ was just normal Vancouver Island weather. Take care Amanda :)
Hello Amanda and Peach. So happy to hear you got off pretty easy during the storm. I'm with you by the way. Love to look at the water but don't want to be in it. 😂
Thank you again for making my Sunday a better day with your video take care and be safe and give peaches a big hug from me😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Great video to watch at 6:30 Monday morning with my first coffee. So calm and peaceful. Peach sure has matured in the year, you can see how attached she is to you. She is a great dog.
My week is made better by your uploads :) I enjoyed you answering some questions. I was wondering about Peach and the boat too. Have a good week girlies💕
Hello Amanda! So glad that bomb cyclone wasn't as bad there as expected. We were thinking about you and praying you would be okay. Thank you for the update and wonderful video.
Hi Amanda, ad Peach, yeah the bomb cyclone hit here, some areas were out of power, i wasn't directly affected myself, it's good that you have things to keep you busy and peach is such a good dog walker!
Hi Amanda! Fellow BC-er here! I've been watching your channel for a while now, and I'm finally commenting. I 💜love your way of life, the music you choose, it looks like you're really happy and at home on your little island. Your videos are so tranquil (as is the area you live) and soothing. Would you be posting more videos where you answer questions again anytime soon? I'm really interested to learn how you left Vancouver to embark on your sailboat life, and then now the cabin/caretaker life.
Hello from BC, near Vancouver. Lovely video, I especially like the music choice. Yes getting colder here too, we have now snow dusting on the Mountains, glad I have my snow tires on. We had a regular wind storm here too, all these new names of these regular storms! May Elohim God, God our Father and God our Mother, bless and protect you always.
I'm in Illinois and joke around with our Canada clients we have similar weather ... the temps are supposed to drop here around Thanksgiving and I hate winter ha ha. Love your channel. take care
Hi! Great to see you & Peaches again 😁. I loved swimming as a young child……….not so much now. But I do love to walk and sit along the water…….it has so much beauty and peace. Are you going to start making natural products again? I really enjoyed your last one. Take care, stay well and stay safe Amanda & Peaches. *hugs*
Hi Amanda, a very nice video as usual. I am curious as to what you do at night inside your cabin. Do you read, watch a movie, listen to music or contemplate life, lol? What is your most favorite thing to do in your spare time aside from work?
Hello Amanda & Peach! I look forward to seeing Peach going sailing with you some day. She seems so relaxed with you. You're a great dog mom to her! Is the water usually dark around your island? I don't like swimming in dark water. I grew up near the beach where the water was somewhat clear. I always joked that I wanted to be able to see a shark if it's headed my way versus dark water where I can't see a thing! Have a good week!
Yeah we've been getting quite a few storms in Courtney too lot of power outages I can remember years ago when I used to hunt in Elk Bay and the wind would get up to 6070 miles an hour you had to walk slanted or it would blow you away one time I was up high in the mountain overlooking Roberts Lake in a snowstorm I don't know why we followed the deer in the snowstorm that bad but I was standing underneath a burn pile and the wind was blowing the snow straight past me he wasn't coming down to get off that mountain we had to drive the three Wheeler in the ditch so we wouldn't get blown off the mountain we were kind of stupid to be hunting in that but you do stupid things sometimes but I love the storms and they'll be love hunting and rain storms and wind storms I used to sit out there all day long and it in my homemade shelters hunting deer best time to hunt deer is in a good rain and windstorm they almost walk right up to you I miss hunting in Elk Bay a lot it was very nice down there until they put that resort down there now there's too many people I haven't been there in probably 10 years it used to be really good crabbing in there I think there's finally starting to come back I knew a few younger guys that were in there that were always keeping every crab they caught all undersized the females very bad habit and another thing when they shot the movie in there they ripped out my kelp bed that I used to jig cod at
love questions and answers . I am with ya on swimming hate the sound of water in my ears , nor do i like my ears plugged tried ear plugs lol. ( might go to my knees). What treat do you give Peach for good behavior, reason i ask is i am trying to train my dog to listen to me . Looks like lots of chores to do to keep you busy , but what a great place to do it. lovin your updates/ videos in general of life living on the island . Ontario Canada .
I like that little railway you got going into the ocean for the boat reminds me the old they used to call it the putter ramp at Kitty Coleman they had the main boat launch and then there was a little potter ramp by the creek used to pull the old putter boats you know the ones with the motors in the middle and the shaft going through them they had them so that you come up on the potter ramp and there was lines where how many boats used to sit one off to each side of them like I don't know how many 5 or 6 boats and about three rows on each side how many years ago but we used to come in that putter ramp after they didn't have any more putter boats there in storms because it was up the creek a little bit long as it was high tide or semi-high could get up there in the big storms without thrusting your boat to on the rocks😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
I used to like swimming in the rivers when it was hot out and I did do a lot of water skiing and knee boarding I ended up buying myself a wet suit for skiing because Comox Lake was always so cold out in the middle sometimes the guy that used to drive my boat would take a while to get back to you and plus it helped you float you didn't need a life jacket really but there's one thing always about swimming that I didn't really like is I always thought that you don't know what's below you and always thought something might come up and grab my foot or something yeah that's weird but if I can't see the bottom I don't like swimming in it and I think I didn't like swimming in the ocean a whole lot because when I was younger in kindergarten I burnt my arm my right arm bad and I used to always get made to go into the ocean to help it heal because our family used to own cabins at Kitty Coleman but I did like swimming in the rivers long as I could see the bottom and I'm not that great of a swimmer never took lessons just learnt myself and most of my swimming is underwater swimming
Beautiful vlog! I loved to swim in my youth in Hawaii, hated when water got in my nose. I also got motion sickness really quickly. I will say prayers for your good health, safety, and well being...and anything else that comes to me while praying.
Dear Amanda, thank you for sharing your videos with us. I sometimes wonder where about is the Island where you are. Just out of curiosity no other reason. I see the map and always wonder. Thanks.
Hi Amanda! I do have 2 question for you. Do your bear hibernate all winter? What happened to the wolves? I know the bear question sounds silly, but the bears in Florida do not hibernate.
Also don't like swimming - showering, soaking or just wading or soaking in the sea or lake are okay. I just don't like the fact I have to keep moving and keeping my head above water to, um, like, keep ALIVE! Not relaxing! 😅
Hi Gail! Yes, the winner was announced and posted in the Bluetti video comments and description - the comment was pinned to top of the comments section.
I understand not wanting to leave your Eden. I live in the country and can’t stand the noise and people in towns and cities. The water in the Pacific Northwest is too cold to swim in.
I love the question answering segment, learn something new all the time. Great video. Best to you and Peach❤

I love to see Peach running. She just seems to love being outside with you. It's funny when we realize something about ourselves later in life. 😅🩵
Thanks!
wow, thanks so much Carol!

Love the Q andA, it's fun. Thanks
Can't imagine not loving swimming, so it's always interesting to hear how different we all are.

Your weather design is beautiful and fits you really well..!!
I too hate swimming but I do like paddling in the shallows but nothing deeper!
Liked this one. Good to see you make the routine interesting? I see why you like to get back when you leave.
You’ve developed a special relationship with Peach. It’s a fascinating dynamic.
I agree :). We've become best buds :)!

Love your videos ❣️🇨🇦
Good to hear you weathered the storm. We had no wind up here. It was a bit of an anticlimax really 😅.
haha :). it was coming in a funny direction here. I think that's why it wasn't as bad as it was elsewhere :). Glad it was easy on you!

We had a big snow storm here in SK this weekend. Winter is here!
Oooh. Stay safe. Apparently Vancouver Island got a big dump as well.

Yes, it's super simple to use and very convenient for cleaning the bottoms of boats when they get covered in barnacles :)
I have come over from Alones channels I am in UK and love outdoor channels

AMANDA - if you know of someone looking near you. For someone like you . I’m available .
Hope you see this🏆
I love to swim, but prefer lakes and rivers. I am so spoiled tho with the clear sparkling water of Vancouver Island.
🙌🏻👍🏼😁👋🏼💞
I like either being wet or dry it's that in between state I don't like. What happened to the bluetti?
Hi Amanda! I do have 2 question for you. Do your bear hibernate all winter? What happened to the wolves? I know the bear question sounds silly, but the bears in Florida do not hibernate.
I just wondered why you don’t fish or set shrimp and crab traps?Do you just not like seafood?
Also don't like swimming - showering, soaking or just wading or soaking in the sea or lake are okay. I just don't like the fact I have to keep moving and keeping my head above water to, um, like, keep ALIVE! Not relaxing! 😅
