My working theory and I have not seen any evidence to think otherwise is that the Mayan basically exhausted their resources. They were producing rubber and plaster on a unprecedented scale, both of which require fire. I believe they cut down so many trees that they introduced erosion to the point of starvation when their fields washed away.

Maybe they left to escape enemies or forest fires.

Just a silly thought but could they have used animals or large birds to help build? They always use the bird in their art.

BBwulf. Put down the crackpipe. You are going to write a book? Start with a sentence that isn't fucked up. Rinse. Repeat.

Our people is special we are ralative to everyone in the american continent from 10,000 an older we have proofs of that there is a codes with more then 2000 years from now an one of them is at the Hopi tribe but we go back so much with the new 60,000 new ruins found 4 more ago we will no more an maybe we can have a better answer of what this people know we kind of know already but they has to make it more official they say odsident was all over teotihuacan but in reality is that in central america there are more them 200 volcanos an lots of them have erupted in the last 5000 years we have cities cover with ash with everything intact inside so we know what happen to our people other thing mexico city back them have only 250k people an the maya land have over 10 millon so just think about that before they say the aztecs control us

What an amazing place. I agree that these structures are many millenia older than he reckons. A sophisticated race with knowledge far beyond ours built these - a global civilization that disappeared suddenly, leaving only monuments behind. It's so eerie that the rich and famous literally abandoned this Earth without a trace thousands of years ago! One would have to surmise that they were from another dimension or world. The carvings of the story of creation show men in helmets, don't you think?
