    Excellent messages transferred regarding interview facing issues and different aspects of an interview discussed in a very easy manner. Couple of video I watched related CV, interview and different key points during an interview have been well explained in a smiley approach. I just enjoyed all the session and already be a fan of that speaker. I wish to implement these things on myself.

    I think this is a sneaky way for companies to ask a question that they're not really asking at all. When I think Conflict, I'm thinking a situation that was a personal conflict with someone. I just missed getting a great job for bringing up a conflict that someone started with me and I handled it professionally and kept my cool, but for being honest I lost out. Good to know, I will only bring up work strategy conflicts for now on.

    I recently sat thru an 8 question behavioral type interview at the Veteran's Affairs. I wish I had watched these videos before going into the interview. I rambled on & on for a couple of questions because I didn't know how to respond. Some of the questions - such as how have I ever effected organizational change really didn't even ever apply to me. Didn't know how to respond.

    Well you r making it really easy and helpful to me, i completely understood the S and A part for this conflict question . But i am still confused about Results ? What we need to talk for results ? Who finally won ? i mean how the conflict got solved ? Plz respond to this it will b really helpful to me. Thanks and once again you r doing a great job.

    Question-In the scenario conflict with your Boss, you did mention ending with ultimately its the decision of the boss... wouldn't this flag to your interviewer that you Disagree and Commit which isn't supposed to be right? or in other wards, you haven't been able to convince your boss etc ??

    When I was promoted over my peers who had worked at our company longer than I had, I ended up dealing with their resentment towards me because they did not get the management position. However, with all but one lady (who quit), I was able to bring them around to realizing that we needed to work together effectively in order to meet the goal of the company. Is that considered a personal problem? I don't think so, what do you believe?

    • @careerly
      @careerly  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Deborah Tollstrup That works! While there are personal elements, overall you still solved a business problem -.how you inspired people to work together to meet the goals of the company. Great example!

    Hi Hira, your videos are very informative and really help to grasp the way to answer the situation based questions. However, watching through your video series, I feel that your tone of speech gets a bit mundane and monotonous at times and it becomes a bit difficult to concentrate then. Also if you please could avoid using 'ummm', 'aaaa' too much in your presentations it would help to concentrate. I hope you will take this as constructive criticism and I look forward to more of your future videos.

    • @careerly
      @careerly  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the feedback. These are entirely unscripted videos.. so the natural tone and umms are just Hira's way of talking. We'll work on it though! Thank you.

    • @robertfrench5612
      @robertfrench5612 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The point is take away the info. The use of uhhh and ummm is great for keeping this laid back and relaxed, unpretentious. If your so worried about the deliver... I bet someone will charge you for the same advice

    • @careerly
      @careerly  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you! It's insane what people charge for superficial cliched advice but they are nicely dressed, speak from a script .. and well, I guess that's what some people want.
