    I'm surprised you didn't show an example of the tubing connected to the goggles. Seems relevant considering all other fan systems on the market (that I am aware of) mount the fan directly to the frame. You didn't show one of the most unique features of the product. How does this product suggest you attach the tubing to the frame? Wouldn't this limit goggle compatibility?

    • @AmpedAirsoft
      @AmpedAirsoft  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      asilentshout we figured it was so self explanatory that I guess we didn’t think we needed to show it, which is our bad. Whoops!
      If you look at videos released by exfog they actually did a cool video test with boiling water and they also have stuff everywhere showing it attached to other goggles as well. We will have to keep this feedback in mind to make sure that the most obvious questions are answered. Perhaps we will take some pics and put it on the product page.
      But with that said, I can assure you, it’s as simple as putting the tubes ANY where you would like and its comfortable. Also since you just place the tubes where you would like, its compatible with ANY goggle/eyewear on the market.
      Most people just run them from the sides or from the top. They are simply tubes that you place either through the frame of your goggles or around the sides of them.
      Thanks for the feedback!
      Kurtis

    Amped - Thank you for the review of our product. We stand behind our Warranty 100%, but it is very rare we see units come back.
    Couple quick clarifications your viewers might like as it relates to the product you have in stock:
    1. Run Time was increased to 9.5 hours straight run time. We have clocked many over 10, but figured 9.5 was conservative. I have played in many national events t/o the US, and have never had one fail during game play. When you consider physical play-time, this is a lot...
    2. There are also 3 speeds - High / Med / Low - Giving your customers more control over how they want to regulate the temperature in the goggles.
    Thought I'd share, as I have not clarified, and I thought you'd find it a positive surprise!

      @RN - I wish I was tagged in this, as I just saw it come up, and we take our warranty process very seriously. There are definite workarounds for severe cases. Not sure if you reached out to us for troubleshooting, but if you give us a shot again sometime, I know we can get you squared away. We see people that have pinched lines and weren't aware, we have had guys that have torn the foam out of their revisions which is a bad idea for trapping air in a fan-driven unit, where they just put some of the foam back on, and good to go. We've have situations where we have even modified the manifolds a bit with our customers to get an extra blast. You may have gotten a one-off if it was that bad though. If you are still having trouble, give us another shot, and let's get you fog free! We take service very, very seriously here at our small family owned company, and don't want any of our customers unhappy!

      @@Exfog i run revision goggles without foam, if this system run so little air that it wont work without foam in the goggles it sounds extreamly bad, considering for example the action mike cyclonefan does it effortless and for half the prize

    • @Exfog
      @Exfog 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Dredd. - Please understand I am referring to severe cases only. We have still sold to hundreds of revision wearers w/o foam. Every body chemistry is different, so I was throwing out a brief example. Either way, my main intention was to convey that we care abt taking care of our customers. But unfortunately, we can't help if we don't know until its too late.
      As for the Cyclone Mike's, have fun. They are a good product.
      I just wanted to develop something unique, that is fully self contained Lexan Polycarbonate (to protect the fan and components), variable speed to provide more control, lightweight (at a combined 2.9 oz), quieter than most anything else on the market, no wires, no separate battery pack, and extremely versatile. Unlike that product, I can easily switch from helmet, to hat, to boonie, to no headwear at all, usually in just seconds. If its hot, I can ditch the helmet and flip to something else, in seconds.
      The Cyclone Mike's is a good product. But doesnt offer any of these advantages.
      The good thing is that it's airsoft. You do you. If Cyclone Mike's is your thing, then great! Have fun with it. I have never felt that I need to bash another product, or make people feel they need to do things "my way". There are enough people in the market that will be happy with their product, and a lot that love the added features, versatility, and service that comes along with mine. Have a great day!

    I almost quit airsoft because of fogging. (I’m local), so I bought some anti fog wipes from the battlegrounds, which....didn’t work at all. Then I bought a dye. Fixed it instantly.

    • @AmpedAirsoft
      @AmpedAirsoft  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yup, purchasing high end eye protection/masks that have thermal lens and good design principles are always your best bet. They are less likely to fog. Couple those with an EX Fog unit and you are pretty much fog free.

      Velcro would probably work best. You will then run the hoses down under the back side of the air frame and then under your internal pads. -Kurtis

    Do the hoses just blow down into the glasses or goggles, or do they have an adaptor to sit on top

      Sorta but not really... lol It's the design of it and the casing/battery system for it that makes it very nice. Also the tubing on it is higher flow than aquarium hose. Simply plug in, charge, and go.

      For a quick clarification - Those were old run times. Amped units are pushing 9.5+ hours. We rate them at 9.5 continuous, but often get 10+. Just being conservative. They have never failed me in any national event...At the end of the day, do what ya like, but when you consider the actual "play time" in airsoft, this will perform. Hope this clarifies.
