Thanks for checking out the PETdisk MAX! Please let me know if you have any feature requests, I try to keep fixing bugs and adding functionality as time allows. Love the case design. Don't know if you had much chance to try out the wifi feature - you can connect to wifi with the PETdisk MAX if you like and use a standard web server as a remote drive for your PET. Fun thing to play with.

You mean he missed the WiFi built in. He must have needed a coffee that day.

Fantastic! That PETdisk MAC looks very cool! 👏 I’ve been using the SD2PET for the past few years, super helpful!

I love my SD2PET Future. It's a great solution for PET computers and it's always connected to my PET 2001-N computer.

I have both the SD2PET and the PETdisk Max. I prefer the PETdisk Max - for all the reasons mentioned: price, size, pass-thru, no wedge required ... and WiFi access.
I've a tapuino on my chiclet 2001, the SD2PET on my 2001, and a PETdisk Max on my fat 4032.

Great video as always and so good to have you back! You've inspired me to finally get my own PET sorted - I have a tube ready for a tube swap but some bugger's nicked one of my shift keys! I'll have to track one down 😁

Enjoyed this video, your editing and picture quality when focusing on the screen is excellent. Nice job

Great video! The Pet 2001 was the first computer I was able to play within school. Everyone else was scared of the darn thing, and I pretty much had it to myself in the math room. One day I'll either find a reasonably priced Pet, likely with a winning lottery ticket, or more likely pony up for a Pet Mini.

I love this. I want one of these computers so bad. So much fun and thanks for all the great content over the years.

Nice! I have the SD2PET, and love it! I also bought the "Stupid Pet Tricks" device which has real joystick ports and a WiFi modem, but I have not even hooked it up yet.

Commodore PET is looking like white version of Lord Darth Vader ;)

Hi, A great rundown on the options
Re the power, could you not tap 5v of the power supply or the mother board and run a single wire to a common barrel connectors or something similar on the back of the machine, then just use a small cable externally to the device - has to be better than popping the bonnet and connect up every time??
Is there a sound import option via say mobile phone and headset jack- i may be thinking of apple 2 series of machines
    Regards
    George

I really like the SD2PET. I have two of them. One for each PET. AFAIK, it is going out of production, which is a pity.

Cool solutions. I know typing the commands is part of the experience but could you add a menu to these so the user doesn't have to remember commands?

Is there not a possibility of rewiring the the mains transformer so that it will work with 240V rather than 120V.

My Pet 8032-SK is missing the keyboard, maybe one (unlikely) day... Still pretty to look at :)

I believe there was a post on FB about someone who completely 3D printed their own SK keyboard.

I've reached out to him before but sadly David Murray doesn't ship physical games to Australia. At least not to us mere mortals; you might have better luck, being an active person in the retro computer community. But you can always just buy the digital download version.

Why use the entire word Directory when DIR would work anyway?

I noticed sometimes the PET screen was bright and sometimes really dark. Is it faulty or was it camera issues?

    • @MattKasdorf
      @MattKasdorf ปีที่แล้ว +2

Camera, slightly out of sync with the monitor.
