The Japanese portion of the soundtrack still blows me away. Say what you want about RA3, but they did a great job with including the Empire of the Rising Sun. Such great sound design and aesthetics. Some of the most iconic voice lines from the game too.
Yeah the soundtrack of Red Alert 3 is pretty damn amazing, but actually I think the game plays even better. Red alert 3 is my favorite game in the entire command and conquer franchise not just because of being able to construct your entire base on water, but it's just really well made compared to the previous games in the franchise. Look I grew up in the 90s and I loved playing Red alert one and Red alert 2 in Red alert 2 is a massive improvement over the first game in my honest opinion, but the original alert has not aged well. Sure there's now a remaster, but I think that actually revealed to more people how poorly the original game aged. It's not a balanced game at all and actually Red Alert 2 isn't very balanced either, but Red Alert 3 on the other hand is easily the most balanced in the whole franchise. I'm not saying it is a perfectly balanced game. The only RTS I could really say is balanced completely is StarCraft, but Red Alert 3 does a very good job of actually trying to balance all three factions really well and does so a lot better than any of the prior command and conquer games.
Bro that female Japanese vocal being cut out with that techno music effect HOLY SHIT! It is only rivaled by the Russian FUCKING METAL CHOIR! I feel the allies got shafted a tiny bit with just pure rock. They should have added some more european/american cultural aspects and then added rock to that. Think the witcher soundtrack and how it included modernized folklore music!
