As you cross the Idaho Washington border on highway 53 I believe it is we call it Trent. Anyway there's a heard of elk 200 head deep you can see them right off the road.
It's hard to believe they were at one point a plains animal until Humans drove them to the Mountains to survive. It did not work as they were nearly decimated from America. In the end it would take the Yellowstone herd to repopulate the decimated Elk of Montana, Wyoming and Idaho,. "Back from the Brink; Montana's wildlife Legacy" is worth everyones time.
…….Another part of Idaho rarely discussed? The HUGE, isolated, WHITE majority of the population there not liking other people living in large, metropolitan cities on either coasts.
Well, it's part of our country - and states with Very FEW residents have the SAMe NUMBER of SENATORS Prigozhin's no math genius -- he just had to Buy Off Enough Kompromats in USA to say he "OWNS" USA Government Sorry to spoil the scenery, ...but FREEDOM could just as easily become an endangered species...
@@eddieg6436 Your idea of hunters is very twisted. The vast, vast majority of hunters have huge respect for the game they harvest. Get out there and try it sometime, you might enjoy it. And the meat is as organic as it gets.
The nature part of this program are my favorite and I look forward to them. Thank you.
Me too!
BEAUTIFUL ELK SO MAJESTIC ♥️
There are elk in Mendocino County (northern) California. I got some video. September 2022. Really enjoyed watching them on a camping trip.

Seeing this should make anyone shutter at the thought of polluting the place we all live in.
Spectacular scenery. I had no idea Idaho was so beautiful.
We hardly ever think of the state as having urban settings. Population is over 90% white.
I love it!

What does that have to do with elk?

@@corey6393 Nothing, love the elk, just don’t like that they’re hunted, and killed by the “Honey boo-boo” population of Idaho.

As it should be.
