The first time I saw Stanley yelling at Ryan, I nearly lost it. And it cracks me up that Kelly was jealous and "snitched" on him, even though Ryan did nothing wrong.
Kind of weird she's jealous of a teenager, but I guess her character has always been a little unhinged.

I don’t care what anybody says, this is some of the best acting I’ve ever seen. It’s such a legitimate reaction. He doesn’t really shout, he doesn’t really talk, he is incredibly professional about something which isn’t, he just destroys him with words, not physical intimidation. So pure.

In fact, it is an actual office and the whole series was improvised on the fly.
A few years back, I met Leslie at LAX. I noticed a familiar-looking guy, tying his shoe, while I was walking by -- I said "hello" to him, and he was extremely friendly. I only exchanged a few sentences with him before we were on our respective ways, but one thing I got to tell him was that this was one of my favorite "Stanley" scenes of all time.
That shot of Kelly looking insanely jealous at Ryan and Stanley's kid always cracks me up.

Little things in this show make it great for rewatching. Notice how Ryan came outside to talk to the camera crew. He needed some air after all that yelling.
I was kinda confused with Ryan's character as the series progressed. He arrived as a harmless well-mannered employee. But later he became a manipulating psychopath. I wasn't disappointed,..just gently surprised.
It's simply because he gained power, become narcissistic, lost his power and then tried to get back to the top

I find to be the hopeful compliment of a child who had grown up listening to their parent read stories from _The Tales of Mother Goose._ (Which stories are told depends on which version you possess) It’s a compliment because Phyllis, purely in terms of her appearance and voice, as well as the personality of her actress, is rather sweet and touching, and fits my perception of what Mother Goose looks like. (I did get into this show because of how moving her role as Sadness in _Inside Out_ was, after all) And it’s hopeful because she’d want someone who would be a nice, grandmotherly figure to her. If I grew up with more of those stories and less of _The Railway Series,_ I could probably ask such a question at that age. It reminds up that we all have non-family to look up to.

What's is mother goose xD?
To me, Mother Goose is a grandmotherly figure who tells the traditional fairy tales to children in her family, and Phyllis matches that description very well, personality aside. And I can see Phyllis (The actress) doing that to those children she’s close to, partially because as her celebrity status doesn’t go to her head, and partially because children will know her as the voice actress of Sadness in _Inside Out,_ and will later get into this show because it got her famous, myself included.
