Caught on camera: Man shot over parking space in Waxahachie

  • "I can't process any of it. He was shot over a parking spot," said Shane Post's mother, Dorothy Post.
The Waxahachie Police Department is investigating a shooting that stemmed from a disagreement over a parking space.
It happened after 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, in the 100 block of Kaufman Street, at a set of townhomes.
Irina Post told WFAA she was waiting for her husband Shane Post to get dropped off by a coworker in their small but gated parking lot.
"This next spot is the neighbor's spot, so he parked there to drop Shane off," Irina Post said.
She said within seconds of the coworker parking his vehicle, their townhome neighbor, who police identified as Nikki Brown, walked up and confronted Shane Post over parking in his spot.
The families have had two small run-ins before, but nothing like what occurred on Tuesday.
"He came out in a robe, and he had already his gun loaded in his pocket," said Irina.
Cameras outside the Post home show Shane slowly walking toward Brown, and then Brown pulling out a handgun and shooting Shane in the torso.

For a judge to ALLOW a defendant to claim self-defense, the defendant needs to meet about 5 requirements.
The shooter forfeited any claims to self defense by leaving his home to fight over a parking place in a bathrobe...WITH a firearm. The victim was also unarmed. The shooter escalated too quickly. The shooter has messed up his life and another person's life. He belongs in a cage...

There were 2 different races involved. If the roles were reversed you know how this would be described. Shooting someone over a parking space?? Lock him away forever. The establishment globalists are using an ancient technique to keep the country divided to minimize opposition. Keeping the races fighting amongst themselves allows the establishment to destroy the industrial base/middle class of the country while enriching the corporations and burdening all of us with an unpayable time bomb of a national debt of 30 trillion plus lots of unfunded future programs. The truth is the US is the country that ended slavery with blockades off the coast of Africa, passed numerous civil rights laws to help Africans with school jobs, etc and we elected a black president. We are not a racist country! The public is being successfully manipulated/brain washed in many ways now so it's going to get worse before it gets better!

Assumptions/opinion: I have only done a few cycles of roids but I can attest to the aggressiveness it can produce. I have heard the juice today is much better than back in my day but it seems clear that Post is not natty. Brown in a robe at 3 pm walking out with a gun in his pocket is a man that is suspect and prepared and looking for an opportunity to use the weapon. They had issues before this. Brown was not going to be bullied by the bodybuilder. Post was not going to be told what to do by this little man that he could physically crush. Disrespect on both sides. The aggressor in this incident was Post. He tried to instill fear with his physical presence.....and he lost that game.

    • @MrBTRDAYZ
      @MrBTRDAYZ 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Exactly. Men spend much of their post puberty years trying to determine and enforce pecking order. The body builder figured his physique allowed him to be repeatedly disrespectful to the owner of the spot, who tried to speak with him about his behavior on numerous prior occasions. Body Builder miscalculated and tried to flex. At lot of gym heads like to strut around as if the world is expected to move out of their way. I would suggest body builder should have followed the advice folks tend to give unarmed black people who are wrongfully stopped and then murdered... "The victim should have complied." I see no obligation for the spot owner to wait for a lunging body builder to actually grab him and render him incapable of defending himself because of superior size/strength.

This will seem harsh but it’s just my honest 2 cents.
In the story you hear that the neighbors have already had 2 “small run ins”. I don’t know for sure the details but it sounds like there might be some tension there.
If the co worker was “just dropping him off”, why park? And especially in that particular spot? Why not just pull over on the main road and let him out real quick? Or maybe pull into the parking lot, turn the vehicle around to let the husband out and then exit the parking lot? I am not saying this shooting deserved to happen at all, just thinking of ways the whole confrontation could’ve been avoided.
As a firm believer in the 2nd amendment and a concealed carrier myself, I can honestly say that was NOT a justified shooting from what I saw on the video. It seems like the shooter wanted to escalate rapidly which he did. The shooter needs to be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.
Again just my thoughts and I hope the victim makes a full recovery.
Thoughts or different opinions are always welcome.

My point is that if your neighbor is unhinged about people using his parking spot, then why use it when there are so many other alternative drop-off areas? It doesn't matter that the guy doesn't have a car - it's his allotted space. This awful outcome would have been avoided if he had just stayed out of the guy's spot. If that turns out to be correct, then his use of his firearm was totally wrong and he should be prosecuted and punished criminally and civilly to the fullest extent of the law. It is important to see here that is was not the firearm that was responsible for the injury to the man shot, it was the human the pulled the trigger. For every improper use of a weapon there are many others who use a weapon properly to save their lives and/or the lives of others. When a tragedy like this occurs.
