How lovely that a student bought you some yarn! It occurred to me that you could knit an emotional support chicken for your classroom! I don’t usually knit this sort of thing but I tried one with very thick homespun yarn and it turned out great! Your students could give her a cuddle if they were having a bad day too! Lovely episode with lots to see! Congratulations to the KAL winners too x

How lovely that a student gave you yarn. Bunting would be a good idea. I am making bunting and booties for my daughter. Her neighbour is having a baby shower so she wants them to decorate the room. x

Congratulations Amanda on getting one child through. A lot of parenting goes into that. Really liked the Stylecraft Head over Heels yarn that I won from you. I haven’t seen it here in Canada. I knit two pair of Shorties and one of them earned me a shout out from the Fleece and Harmony podcast. :-). Wonderful when your students show their appreciation. If you do a search on Ravelry patterns with your weight of yarn and yardage, should come up with a few suggestions. Again, another lovely podcast.

Love your everyday tee! The blanket for your daughter is so pretty. So are the socks. How about making a toy for the classroom from the gifted yarn. That was so nice!

Hi Amanda, oh you have been busy.
I love my books, but due to hand and wrist problems I am using my kindle more.
I have it set so as the background is black and the writing is white. It's a lot less trouble on my eyes meaning I can read more.
Love a physiological thriller. Not too much gore, but a good twisting story.
Also, your kindle can read your book without you spending on audio books. Just double tap it when your on a page and it's on the bottom.
Couldn't imagine not crafting in the car when husband is driving. It's like bonus knitting time. I tend to knit and very occasionally crochet when travelling. Socks are perfect.
My children and grandchildren are used to me having a project bag with me.
Congratulations to your daughter on graduating. No I didn't craft during the ceremony itself.
My granddaughter loved your Whitmore sweater and the yarn you chose. I am going to have to try ebay to find some!
We had a lovely day crafting together on Tuesday. She has started a granny square blanket. So we made a few squares and I taught her how to make a Christmas light ornament, so she knows how to increase and decrease. Left her busy making a Christmas crafting list.
She is 12 going on 20! 🙄 She'll be in her second year of senior school come September. My eldest grandchildren will be going into his fourth year and my baby granddaughter turned three last Friday. I just want to stop and ask them all to slow down!
    Sorry family ramble. Lol.
    Take care xxJane 🐑🌼

Lovely socks and other projects! How lovely of your student to give you some wool! Could you crochet a bowl or container of some kind?

A basket in that super chunky would be amazing to have all your supplies in or books, Then if there were some knots it wouldn’t matter so much

I'm trying very hard to reduce my stash this year. My goal is to halve it by years end and I'm already almost there. Through knitting, crochet and donating I've reduced by over 11 kilos by the end of July.

Would your lilac chunky yarn be enough to knit an emotional support chicken?
