I always fly emirates and I usually go to the galley in between services just to chat with the cabin crew and just try to be nice, and on every flight one of them would give me a Polaroid or the “care package” I thought it was just part of the service but I’m so happy that it’s cause they appreciated my niceness😭😭
When I was 18 or so, when my mother worked for British Airways, I flew an entire flight (takeoff to landing) from LHR to KEF with Icelandair in a jump seat on the flight deck behind the captain as the flight was overbooked. Best day ever!
I like how honest you are about things you do there in the air that you shouldn't be doing coz let's face it, you're a human being and at the end of the day, you're still efficient in doing your job🤜🤛
I absolutely loved seeing behind the scenes videos and photos of you in uniform onboard!! Thank you so much for sharing these footage... you must have planned this so well! Especially the incredible cockpit views and the crew resting area! I'm amazed that you could film onboard! A very well produced video as usual - loved every minute of this video!

Wow, I’m impressed with your video! It’s the first one that I watch from you. I’ve tried numerous times to get into Emirates in the past, but Brazil is one of those places with tons of people applying and I never got it. But anyways, I would never expect a cc working for Emirates to share so openly on TH-cam how it is like and actually showing everything in details inside the airplane and so on. Because for a long time, most of my EK friends kept telling me that it was not allowed and blah blah blah, I applaud Emirates for allowing people to share their experiences as a cabin crew there. Awesome, loved your video and your comments about it. Keep them coming! Be safe. 😁👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I’ve been watching all your videos non stop and subscribed to your Facebook page thank you for all the information you provide I’m truly great full and this video is sooooo amazing omg ❤️
Very interesting and informative, thank you, I'm sure that you enjoyed your 'vocation', that did seem to come through the video. My wife and I flew Emirates last September to the Maldives, and mostly it was quite an enjoyable experience, we are old school, been around a long time in life and we dont make any fuss or like to bother any one unnecessarily, so we left the cabin crew alone, on the return journey I chose not to eat, I wasn't very hungry, the only thing I really wanted was a cup of tea, I requested this from the flight attendant, she was not very happy about this, but no matter, my wife and I laughed off her rudeness, maybe she was under a little pressure I dont know, but I never did get my tea 😔, the point is it's the little things that matter. But over all my experience with Emirates I would rate at 8/10. I did not, would not complain, you are quite busy at times, why have I mentioned this, no reason, as I said we laughed about where as others would probably made a huge song and dance about it, anyway thanks for your vids there are informative. Cheers.

Hi! 1st of all thanks for your videos and tips, it's really helpful. I want to ask you what if you have done some extra mile for some super nice passenger as you said, for example you gave him or her a postcard or chocolate or whatever. And when you did that some other passenger saw it and wanted it too. What would you do in that case?
This is such a fascinating video. I have flown the 777-300ER and the A380. I wonder if the crew rest also gets cleaned when the plane gets cleaned in between long flights. For example, IAD v NRT or LHR v IAD.

Here in the USA, Pursers are equal to main cabin crew members. It seems Emirates is a horror to work for. I did apply years ago and I am so glad they didn't hire me. What are you doing now? Its 100,000,000 times better to fly for a U.S. Airline.
Some odd reason I get hungry while flying. How can I ask for extra food? I feel very shy to ask and what if I ask and they say no. That would be very embarrassing situation.
Don't be shy! If you are hungry and you politely ask for it, pleanty of food will be avaible for you! That's true in every airline, cause they always carry more food then the number of guests, and some of them even don't eat their portion
Can you talk about how long your layovers are if your junior crew and Perdiem’s and routines that you get into to try to save money when travelling thanks love the videos and love EK!
Hi there! Thx for your sharing. And I wonder what if the senior/supervisor seems chilled and I think I can be on my phone, but he/she just backstabs me after?
I've flown as a passenger hundreds of flights. If, as you say, economy is full and business or first class are not full, do you up grade passengers on every flight? I had flights from Bangkok to Birmingham via Dubai and return for my 10 year old daughter and I. Unfortunately the corvid-19 pandemic has put them on hold. Have flown with Emirates a lot and let me tell you if you sit near the galley or the seats they save at the back for crew during a night flight and you want to sleep, you won't get ANY sleep. All the crew do for hours is talk and laugh for HOURS. They have no regard for passengers who want to sleep. I have only experienced this on Emirates. If you ask them to be a little quieter (if you're brave enough) all you get is "well, we're on our break", then afterwards you get the worst service because they know who has complained and where you are sitting 😒. Have now stopped using Emirates due to the "entitled" attitude of the crew.
Sorry to hear that. We're on our break is told only when the crew is changing and going to sleep. They would never dare to say it if they're not truly going on their break. The mess they do is cause they change in the toilets, grab new blankets from the hatracks or closets. Crew laughing and talking loudly in the galleys is unprofessional and does happen. Now you know why.. Cause they have literally nothing to do. We're just sorry to hear your not flying Emirates anymore for this reason. It's really rare to hear such feedback. We hope you change your mind one day. We think it's one of the best airlines out there.
Sorry think you have answered my comment and maybe something else as well? I never mentioned that the crew made a mess?? Anyway thanks for the reply. I understand they literally have nothing else to do but when you are on a long haul flight and all you hear for hours, when everyone is trying to sleep in a dark cabin, is innane loud talking and laughing then it puts your off big time.
By mess we meant noise or racket. Usually on long haul flights there are 3 breaks for the crew and they tend to get noisy quite a bit at that stage since they do the above mentioned actions. Once the designated crew go on their break, silence should be restored. If you still heard crew laughing, joking, talking too loud throughout the whole flight then sure, they're in the wrong. Anyways they're in the wrong even if they're going on break, they should always be mindful (what we're trying to get across is that during break changes, noise levels usually reach their highest point). When we fly, we always sit away from galleys. There are 2 onboard an a380, best seats are from row 50 to 70 (not exactly sure but pretty much they're the rows away from the first galley 40 to 50 and away from the second galley 70 to 80)
Well that depressed me , I regularly fly UK to New Zealand in business. I go out of my way to be super nice to the crew and yet no photo of goodie bag 😭😭. I feel unloved
I see. I have visited the website but it wasn't specifically stated or indicated that we need to attach a photo on our CV when applying online. I hope you can gather some info about this. I would really appreciate it. Thank you WishCasting :)
Is it truth that after a 16 hours flight the second cabin crew on board remains at the plain to operate the flight back to Dubai or makes only a 5 hours lay over, since the time on the plane that there are not on duty calculates as rest?

8 years ago it took around 1 year (slightly more maybe). 6 years ago it took 2 years time. Now it takes around 4 years or slightly more. Things might change though when more staff gets recruited, an airline cannot operate its flights with 80% freshly hired economy class only. They'll be forced to promote sooner.
Of course! Super good! ☺️ Orlando @wishcasting Our Emirates MasterClass video database: bit.ly/EmiratesInterview Join the Emirates Classroom, with Emirates crew members and aspiring cabin crew members on Facebook Here's the group: facebook.com/groups/EmiratesWannabees/

0:59 "You're smiling to people". Not sure which Emirates attendants this guy's been hanging around with.
Those "Lightnings" are called Elmo's Fire btw
Hello WishCasting. I have a quick question. Do you need to attach a photo on your CV when you apply via online?
Hi there Zai! I never applied for an invitation only. Read the requirements. But I'm sure you need a passport photo at least
Orlando @wishcasting
I see. I have visited the website but it wasn't specifically stated or indicated that we need to attach a photo on our CV when applying online. I hope you can gather some info about this. I would really appreciate it. Thank you WishCasting :)
all i was paying attention to was his uneven mustache
Ahahah! XD
Is it truth that after a 16 hours flight the second cabin crew on board remains at the plain to operate the flight back to Dubai or makes only a 5 hours lay over, since the time on the plane that there are not on duty calculates as rest?
No that isn't true Niki
I have just one question and i want satisfactory answer . does nationality matter when applying for Emirates?
Hi, I understand your question. Could you please ask it on the Emirates Wannabees | forum so that everyone can read my reply? They will benefit of your question too.
Copy paste should be sufficient.

@@WishCasting thanks asked it there
is being clean shaved must?
Nice video!! How many time can you sleep in a flight?
Only once! In Boeing 777 you sleep longer. A380 you sleep less.
It all depends on the flight too.

How long does it take to get promoted to business from economy on average
8 years ago it took around 1 year (slightly more maybe). 6 years ago it took 2 years time. Now it takes around 4 years or slightly more. Things might change though when more staff gets recruited, an airline cannot operate its flights with 80% freshly hired economy class only. They'll be forced to promote sooner.
I am working at a royal carribbean cruise for 2 years. Can it be an experience to work for EK?
Of course! Super good! ☺️
