I love airplanes and I wanted to do a job where communication and customer care play an important part. So, I went there and did not pass anything. Now when I look at your videos, I realise that it was a good thing that they did not choose me. I was quite disappointed back at the time, but I had the chance to stay at home and spend a lot of time with my parents, who I lost around 2 years ago. We had so much fun and they knew that I was disappointed, but they tried their best to keep me happy. I'm glad that you also explain young people about the disadvantages of this job. In 2005 there were neither facebook nor youtube like today. Not to mention that only a few people had internet at home. You are doing a great job with your videos and you deserve a big thumb up!
I tried three times with EK. Got rejected each time. I did everything you said in your video, prepared myself like a champ, read articles, watched hundreds of videos, asked EK crew on some tips.. but still get rejected. It's honestly from my experience at least, a matter of luck. You can have everything that they look for in a candidate and still be rejected whereas some people who can barely speak English and who have never heard of Emirates get hired in a heartbeat. It's just luck and patience. Some make it right away others don't. Anyway good luck to everyone.

I agree. I see some cabin crews in my former company I worked for are short (they can't even reach the overhead bin & steps the aisle seat to reach it), shy, no experience, inactive, unhygienic... etc but they became cabin crew. There were ex-cabin crews who applied but got rejected.
Winners never quit. Try and try until you succeed. I also applied in Qatar Airways. That was my first time to try to apply as cabin crew and got rejected. However i am not losing hope. I will still reapply ❤️ Don't give up ❤️

I thought I answered so well in my questions but still got rejected, I put so much time and effort into studying for this to get knocked down. It’s annoying how they don’t give feedback, I don’t know where I went wrong🥺 but I will try again in 6 months
Same here I Applied and they shortlisted me for Evaluation so when I attended the evaluation and I passed through all stages I was asked to do digital Assessment which they told us that it will be viewed as a FI but unfortunately I thought I did everything so perfectly but after 3says I received a unsuccessful Email

I went to an open day and on first group session I explained my job and myself plus the card we had, then we finished for a break the. Came back I was not selected, the lady said railing is not a customer service, she didn’t look at my cv and not asked what was the my role in tailoring. She said come again in 6 months. But I don’t understand why tailoring is not customer service job? I did it 8 year and been manager the shop taking customers and dealing with their needs.

Looks like I made the mistake of answering the question of the Emirates representative with I instead of we as a group (and I shouldn't have read the istructions for the others, this may have been perceived as bossy despite my good intentions). Well, at least I know what not to do next time.

There is no max age. Only minumum of 21. However it is true that from 22 to 26 its perfect. From 26 to 30 its good. From 30 to 34 it's harder. From 34 onwards it's quite hard. @@WishCasting Shame you don't know any EK crew who got hired let's say at 35 recently. So it is fair to say that to get hired at this age is nearly impossible.
I do know a good friend of mine, working in Business Class for Emirates. She is Portuguese and joined when she was 34. She made it on her first try. But... That was 6 years ago, when I joined. Things change nowadays so fast. I'd say try! But, over your 40s it's really tough.

if you were rejected before final interview then yes, you can apply again at any open day.. but if you passed all through to the final interview then you unfortunately need to wait 6 months

Yes accommodation is provided free of charge, it's hard to fail the exams, but you get 3 tries to pass. It's always a pass
