I tried this mod on a KTM300EXC-2024 yesterday. Yes it's a PITA to do, plenty of use of the Dremel like Robert does, PLUS I had to Dremel away the inner clamps a bit also to make it easier to get them to close... Also had to Dremel away a bit of the plastic arms which were too close to the clutch/front brake mechanisms (so I could lower them both) to suite my liking... All in all, yes, a great video of the mod, but KTM, this kit is F&KN SH**TE for a 24' model... Fsssssssssssss.................. Save yourself a bunch of time and just buy some Bark-Busters instead...
You can move the clutch along with the guar up and down. but they are fixed with the guard. To me works good. just get home from an 3 day enduro ride and had the bike thrown on rocks and it shows but hold up good

Brother, are you able to move the clutch/break levers outside/inside ? Or now they are stuck with the guard in a fixed position?

Can you mount these on a fully open bar or do you need those “rim” thingy lock on grips
You can put it on any bars, I just prefer the lock on grips
