I remember this song was in raw wave format on the game disc and can be played on a CD player. In fact it was in higher quality than the soundtrack single. 48kHz.

@@megapokesonicx maybe it's in a different partition and you need to rip it using some audio CD ripping software. If the total size of the data files and folders is smaller than the CD's total size then that missing chunk is in a hidden audio partition. It's called a hybrid disc, or a mixed mode CD. Rayman PS1 was also one of those.

@@megapokesonicx I haven't played: Legends (still on backlog), Super Adventure Rockman, 9 10 11. My favorites: 7, 8, X, X3-X6, X8, Command Mission, Battle Network, Star Force, Battle & Chase. Gunvolt series is a good replacement for me. What about you?
