- Here's my piano arrangement of The Apex of the World from FE3H! Since the melody of the song and the added embellishing notes have to be played with the same one hand during a few parts, I have signified the main melody and any accented notes by darkening the color of them in the video.

I don't know why but this came during a time where I'm feeling sad and heartbroken. I nearly cried remembering the lyrics for the edge of dawn, I love this game so much and this song is my favorite. Thank you for making this

I spent way longer on this than I was expecting, so thank you for your patience. I based certain parts off of past arrangements, such as my Edge of Dawn vocal arrangement, since the original song does a similar thing. I hope you like what I came up with!
Sidenote: I apologize for not having sheet music available just yet. It will be posted on MusicNotes as soon as possible though! Making it will be a lengthy process, but it will eventually reach completion.
This was incredible, and I love that you captured Edge of Dawn feelings inside of this cover because most people gloss over the fact that Apex of the World is like an instrumental parallel of that song and you did not leave a single note out capturing the whole essence of the song!

My dude, you really are on another level. These FE3H arrangements are among the best in existence. The attention to detail, the nice touch with the highlighted melody notes to distinguish from the embellishments (which I am considering stealing), and the tactful use of pedal (or lack thereof) for parts to create various feelings. This arrangement felt like it told a story while capturing the original in nearly all of its entirety. This is a quality I love about your and schala's style of arranging and something I'm still trying to figure out how to implement. Oh and let me not forget, our rhythmic textures are fantastic as well. Truly inspirational work, man. TEACH ME YOUR WAYS lol.

Feel free to use the highlighted note idea! I figured it would make the video & arrangement easier to understand.
The rhythmic textures I use are typically the result of me trying to replicate the percussion of the original while simultaneously emphasizing the chords. It’s super fun to mess around with left hand patterns.

This may be a dumb question, but how does the sound change at 0:35? I recognize it from the actual ost, and I love how it is so distinct here, but I dont know *how* I can do it on the piano. The notes look almost the same before and after the transition. Is it a pedal?
The shift in feel is due to a _sudden dynamic change_ accompanied by a wide and slightly dissonant chord, with an accented melody line over top. At measure 25 (35 seconds in), the dynamic quickly shifts from mezzo-forte to piano, yet the repeated and accented A ostinato still floats above.
