The song "Big Time In The Jungle" is one of my all time faves of theirs, but really that whole album is great. "Take EM Away" is essential as is "Hard To Love" and "Hard to Tell". This is very up lifting . The fact that is was recorded in New Orleans and just approach and the writing of the lyrics and the style the are playing with that bluegrass roots nailed down hard with that scotch irish Appalachian twang. It don't get much better.
I just turned on to these guys recently, and I just can't get enough- They have the old-timey sound down cold, and their vocal harmonies are incredible. Now I've got to see them live!

I'm defiantly not a mainstream country person at all. but i saw old crow at the crystal ballroom in portland right before i left for the military. they played a hour and a half set, took a half hour drink break, and got back on stage and played another hour and a half of music. out of all the concerts i've been to, you could really see the emotion they put into every song. probably one of the best concerts i've been to.
