Sick video dude. There’s really a lack of e92 drift content on TH-cam thats not pro car stuff. It’s really videos like these that give people direction with their builds. Wether it be a M3, 335i, 328i or any other e92/90. It’s gives example and opinion on certain mods which helps a lot and passing knowledge. Keep up the vids man looking forward to the next one 👊💯
thanks for the comment! definitely a lack of content, i think people are fairly new to drifting these cars but they are great cars and will start to be used more and more soon. just wanted to show everyone my setup so far
Great videos! You mountain drift encouraged me to buy an e90 M3 6mt, and I’ve begun starting all the mods beginning with the SLG hydro kit. Keep it up!
Please make a video of HOW TO DRIFT THIS...seat position, gear selected, rpm range, steering wheel angle and weight transfer for the M3! I greatly appreciate it..I wanna start drifting this spring/summer and this is my car
Very cool setup, less is more, love your style ! +1 sub. Looking to do the same but with a smaller engine and turbo it or something, but chassis wise you’ve answered a lot of my questions on what to run 👍🏻
Nice video man. I appreciate how you've focused on seat time + suspension & drivability rather than trying to upgrade power. (Of course the stock e92 M3 already makes a generous amount of power and has a very linear HP band... and the 6 individual butterfly valves makes that NA throttle response so sweet). Did you do anything to the exhaust?
Nice one Nick, for a grass roots drift - track only version of the e92 M3 what else would you do on the suspension/handling side? (Im running the m3 chassis with a 6.0 LS).
yeah this is a very simple setup to go have fun and drift track or street. for a full track car i would do wisefab front and rear and move some weight over the rear axle, rear mount radiator, battery etc. also run a bigger tire
Nice vid.. would you say the afe intake is worth it ? Do you feel a difference? And would you say the m/s pulleys made a difference and is it worth it ? Thanks
unfortunately i'm not sure about the pulleys. the car had them when i got it. the intake made a slight difference. i think with all the bolt on parts paired together with a tune it's definitely worth it
@sirnick71 That's crazy I have a SLG Dual Caliper Kit with Chasse bays pull back hydro on my 335i e90 and it seems to keep locking up. What fluid do you use for it and do you think it matters? I'm using Pentosin Super DOT4 brake fluid. Love watching you shred in your videos btw, keep it up bro💪
@@SirNick71 yea I'm trying to figure it out. We have the same set up. I am a mechanic and I'm familiar with the brake system. Seems like after I use it 3 or 4 times it starts to overheat and stick. And if I'm just daily driving and don't use it it's fine. I've went through it like 3 times. Do I have to be using drilled and slotted rotors?
Random, but say it was boosted with like a ESS kit around 550-600hp on stock bottom end. How long do you think that setup would hold up with all the driving and type of driving you do with the street skids, track days and daily driving lol?
@@SirNick71 the ones I bought were 7k front and 14k rear. Could I switch the rear springs to the front and buy 10k springs for the rear online? What springs do you recommend?
@@chefboyardee6728 you can't swap front to back or back to front. you can buy replacement springs from most coilover manufacturers. i bought BC replacement springs for the weight i wanted

hell yeah!
As an e92 m3 owner you’re my drifting role model

i could possibly make a driving breakdown of some in car footage i have, i'll have to look into doing that for you guys
Yess would love that
Clean set up bro looking forward to shred with you one day 🤘🏻
thanks man 🤙🏼
This was such a nice build!! Why did you get rid of it?

yeah the s65 has plenty of power for now. it has a primary cat delete and rear muffler delete
@@SirNick71 so I guess you need to do work each time you need to Smog it? and no actual change to the exhaust pipes I see
@@garthjohnson88 yeah for smog the cats need to be put back on. stock xpipe

as long as you can keep the engine temps down/oil temps, it should last awhile. especially if your running low boost. at least 2-3 years of abuse.
Hey man, I'm wondering what tyre pressure you running?
i used to run 25psi
@@SirNick71 thx, is that all 25 all around? I still come back to your vids and finding new stuff haha 😆

these are not the extreme lows. just regular DS's. i have 14k front and 10k rear
