  • I ❤ making treats for our dogs. It allows me to make them in bulk without a lot of money. I can also control the ingredients. Plus they love homemade treats!
    RECIPE:
    1/2 cup creamy dog-friendly peanut butter
    1 cup rice flour
    1/3 cup apple sauce
    1 tsp cinnamon
    Water for desired consistency
    DIRECTIONS
    Preheat oven to 350°
    Warm-up peanut butter in the microwave for 20 seconds or until liquidity.
    Combine all ingredients into a bowl.
    Smear onto silicone mold or baking sheet.
    Bake for 10 minutes for soft treats OR 15 to 20 minutes for crunchy treats
    Allow cooling for 5 minutes before giving to dogs.
    Store in an airtight container for a few weeks or freeze for longer.

    I've noticed you haven't posted anymore. Girl, you have more than 700 videos, don't throw all of your hard work away!! If I can give some advice.....change the lighting in your videos, the light is not enough and there are too many shadows. Even a ring light where you can put your phone in it to record, would be fine. And I would definitely put a bit more effort in the thumbnails to make them more clickable. Thumbnails are the make or break deal: it's the reason people will or will not click on your videos. Don't give up! You have a library of good info and you are very likeable, so it won't be difficult for you to maintain your audience once they click on your videos.

    • @CanineCountryAcademy
      @CanineCountryAcademy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the note! Great question. It will vary based on your dog's dietary needs, age, and size. I like short training sessions that might include 10 reps of one new behavior max. That could mean 10 to 20 treats. Then observe if your puppy does okay with that amount of treat rewards.

    Hi, my little princess will only eat chewy treats … I am wondering what type I may do for her … your videos are amazing

  • @judichristopher4604
    @judichristopher4604 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I have something to share with you... You might already know this.
    I am dieting... I used to be a Fitness Trainer years ago... and I have a Vitamix, so it is easy to make these treats... but I too wanted to have Treats to eat and not feel guilty and treats for me to help me lose weight...
    ALSO... My mother is almost 90 years old, and wanted to make something for her as well, since she eats many times a day, but very little at a time...
    So... One day, I had "BONE BROTH" left over in a cup my mother forgot to drink.
    I didn't want to throw it away, because it is expensive... and very good for you. I just happened to be making treats for me and mom....
    I put 1 Pack of Clear Gelatin with the Bone Broth and added it to my soupy mixture of treats... I used the bigger Silicone molds (hearts) ... I knew these would be "WIGGLY" ....
    OH MY GOSH... They turned out SOOOOO GOOD... (LOTS less salt).
    Hope you try this for yourself and your puppies.

    Do you know the nutritional facts on these treats? Do they count as low calorie?

    Don't use wheat flour. The gluten in it makes the batter too sticky to spread in the silicone mat.

    Peanut butter should have just one ingredient. Peanuts........

      @CanineCountryAcademy  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can make them either. If you want crunchy, just add a few minutes and check them.

    Why not use peanut butter that only has peanuts instead of added oil, sugar, and other ingredients.

    • @MariaSanchez-ch1jq
      @MariaSanchez-ch1jq 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because these are for training. It’s easier to carry something you can give them, like this, that won’t make a mess on your hands.
