You can no longer buy this product because the company was sold to Stryker and it was more profitable to sell these exclusively to hospitals for an insane markup rather than put it in the hands of a consumer who could otherwise avoid an ER bill.
It’s vile isn’t it? There is no reason why this or steri strips shouldn’t be available to the public. If sold in emergency aid kits they could literally keep a person from getting a wound massively infected while trying to make way for a hospital. Wider availability of this product would save lives. The greed is unending
@@josephrichard9089 It is ridiculous for only closing the skin. A few dermal Vicryl sutures with Dermabond for the skin is better but take more time compared to just slapping that thing on. All the best on a quick recuperation.
@@johnjobber2219it is less traumatic to the skin. No needles or staples inserted into the flesh. When healed, the tape is removed and the zip ties with it. Less scarring too.
@@johnjobber2219 My skin has become really thin, so it's easily cut and sutures just rip right through it. Zip Stitch has saved me countless times, so I always have it in my first-aid kit for emergencies.

Omg. This is bullsh*t. I want this. Do you know how much money you could save not spent on hospital bills?
They better put these back in the stores and include them in first aid kits!

How long do steri strips stay on,do they just fall off?
I just had some applied today. I was told they might last up to ten days. I'm expecting they won't.
Had them after laparoscopic surgery, they definitely lasted at least 10 days@@wadebarnett2542

Seek medical attention before your toe gets infected and possibly life-threatening. A small piece of plastic is not gonna heal a split toe
Did he cut himself for the video??
Just put a steri-strip on which is faster and will give a better result. That thing is ridiculous
Had open heart surgery last week. I have a foot of this shit running down my chest. Not so ridiculous
