- This is our first baby and we decided to have a home birth that turned out to be in a birthing water pool and unmedicated. That being said, home births, unmedicated births, are not for everyone. We were prepared to make changes and go to the hospital if need be but we were successful in staying home. This is the vlog video of our life altering journey and we hope it inspires you with whatever decision you decide to make.

I teared up watching this. I been a follower since she was living in NYC right before she shaved her head. I watched as she went on her Shameless journey with all the twists and turns that it took her. I saw all the highs and lows of living in LA including relationships and it warms my heart to see how taking a chance on Love brought Maya all this happiness and more with such a supportive husband and now this beautiful baby girl. It gives me hope. Thanks for continuing to share your journey with us.

After 5 hours of “no progress” they would have done a c-section in the hospital. I loved the mantra it takes time and pain means progress. So inspiring and beautiful
Wow! Good to know! Maya knew exactly what she was doing having her baby in Sweden. I think they helped each other. I have never seen a birth where the father is so involved.
Exactly! I hate how they try to speed up a process that unfolds completely on its own in a different way each time.
Maybe worked out for her but most time it’s not in the mothers Favor to continue
This is important to note how the hospital interferes unnecessarily. A lot of AA women have unnecessary postpartum complications because of the factory farm hospital methods.

I did not think I would cry but hearing your very honest and vulnerable screams and deep sighs during the labor, it was just very real and honest and hearing your pain, as beautiful and scary as it was, made me so emotional. Tears of joy are overflowing. The amount of love I felt just watching this moment I'm sure doesn't compare to the love you all were feeling during this labour and delivery. Saga is so fortunate to be a part of this love story.

Beautiful video, I was crying so hard. I’m due in 10 more weeks and I wish I had the nerve to birth at home but I’m 43 and just don’t want to take the risk of something going wrong. Kudos to you Maya & congratulations on your new bundle of joy.

I have never watched a birthing film because I have never had a baby (just turned 59yrs), but I must say this witness was the most beautiful experience I have seen in a long long time. Thank ya'll for sharing. Maya and Max GOD created each of you for each other. Max you represent the human male and GOD so well. You kept Maya focused (singing and praising). Maya, GOD said the life that you would push out your body would not be easy because of Eve's disobedience, but He was right there with you and you completed that. Beautiful! I gave birth 18 months ago. It was at the hospital but I had a natural unmedicated birth. It’s crazy how much you forget! I can’t even remember the pain! I know it was painful at the end and I was beyond exhausted but I can’t remember the pain! Just the joy of meeting my baby! Now I’m due next spring and am considering a home birth!

Absolutely beautiful. I love this. I had my first at home totally unassisted. I woke up thinking I had to poop and my daughter came out within minutes. It’s crazy how different every birth is because my 2 boys were totally different each in their own way. ❤️❤️
