    you should do a video on the types of apparel you buy for when you are doing aerial ! Also you should do a video about what you eat to keep you healthy and in shape to do this!

      I have a "what to wear to aerial" video, but I'm thinking of remaking it with actual examples of brands and things I wear :) Also, that's a great idea I'll add that to my list!

    Did you have to buy the figure 8 connector separately? Or do you use a strop over the top bar instead? (was this the part you said in the instructions didn't come with it?) Thanks for making this video, so helpful!

      sorry for a million questions! but- Also, did you buy the top extender bar to make the frame wider? and do you use the sandbags that come with it or at this height do you find it stable enough without?

      Yes, I did buy the figure 8 separate from the rig, however I do believe I got it with my silks, I looked for a bundle package for them where I got everything I need in one spot. I also use a strop over the top bar, which I also bought separately but I may be switching that out soon for something that gives me more height.

      Keep them coming, I love to help! So glad this video was of use to you. I do not have the top extender bar, because I don't have enough space to extend the rig in either direction, but it might be something worth looking into when I move the rig into a larger space. I do use the sandbags, they come with plastic bags to go inside of a canvas-type sleeve, that then fits into the final bags with the "X-Pole" logo on the ground. I just filled them up outside in my yard, but I know not everyone is going to have sandy gravel on their property so you might have to purchase it elsewhere or go to a location you can freely obtain it. The bottom of the legs have little caps on them that are quite smile and I don't think it would feel stable at any height without the sandbags. :)

    I really want a freestanding aerial rig to go in my backyard, but I'm kind of broke college student LOL. There's expensive ones and there's cheap ones and I'm worried about getting a cheap one.

      Believe it or not, I bought my rig as a broke college student hahaha. However, I worked full time at the time, so it was a little easier to save. I considered it an investment in my future, since what I'm going to college for is supposed to complement my career goals for aerial. I'd definitely reccomend a reputable one, this x-pole I have is probably your cheapest and most reputable option. I think it was roughly $650, and then of course you have your rigging equipment and apparatus. If saving small amounts incrementally isn't an option, see if you could get several family/friends to go in on it for a birthday/xmas gift!

    Good review. I am in a NYC apartment and would need to keep at 8' high, according to the product specs the floor foot print would be 6' 10" square--is that about right? I am 5' 9" tall would I be squished in this for hoop? Thanks!

    • @ApothecAerial
      @ApothecAerial  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Considering I'm 5 feet tall and have it at about that height, and I'm squished, yes I believe you would be. My best reccomendation would be to take it to a local park whenever you'd like to use it, that way you're unlimited. I'm considering doing that to free up some space.

      @@ApothecAerial Thanks for ur advice. I'm not too keen on heaving it up and down a 5th floor walk up as part of my workout --might just stick with classes for now. Thanks 😊
