Thank you for the upload, we are replacing the right mount this weekend, hopefully it's only that one, the transmission mounts seem to be much more difficult. haven't found a video on them yet either. Crossing fingers!
Hi SJ M8. Thanks for watching. Its way easier than it looks. Same thing Step one, set up the jack with wood block on your transmission just too hold up the trans in place. Step 2, remove battery and battery tray and anything that could be in the way to your trans mount. Step 3, it has 13 mm bolts at a very uncomfortable position. Use a wrench better if it's the rachet kind of wrench. After that the rest its easy you'll see. Hope these steps help you. Always replace all mounts the same time . Step 4 put all parts back together. You have fun my brother. And as always GOD BLESS like subscribe
@@omarlopez-eb2nd well unfortunately my rattling wasn't caused by the mounts, but a failed water pump which ford decided to put inside the engine. Looks like I might got lucky and the engine didnt get compromised as the coolant shoots out clear on the bottom of the engine passenger side. The oil is not "chocolate shaky" so maybe ford updated the inside and put some guides in there, I don't know. Do you think it's possible for the coolant to escape without getting in the oil pan?
@@sjm8510 sorry to hear that brother. And I've seen some tahoes and Nissan Armadas aswell Chrysler 300, water pump leaks the water outwards the vehicle, not to the engine. Hopefully yours does to, but call Ford to see if it might have a recall or maybe get looked at before anything happens too your engine.
Hi Williams T. Thanks for watching. You can use a 2x4 and place it on the jack under the oilpan. It wont hurt or damage it. Remember you just need too hold the motor in place too remove the motor mount. No need too lift high nor drop engine down, just hold it in place. my passenger side motor mount bolts broke (all 3) after driving over a small dip at 40 mph. so the engine fell on top of the axle and cracked it. i was told ford put cheap bolts. anyone else ever had this issue happen to them?
Not sure brother, but after i replaced the motor mount i used the same bolts. Driver is still driving the vehicle without issue. Could be that maybe the bolts were loose and finally came off. Sorry too hear about your situation

You absolutely can do the powebrake method, the mount just moves much less than what you're used to seeing, and in a forward, rearward motion. FYI.
