@@BrokeCarConnoisseurs So, I shouldn 't worry about foam rot, right? Because a friend of mine has a Nissan Micra K11 with a Blaupunkt head unit and I 've bought an FM transmitter as a birthday gift for him, but I haven 't had an occasion to test his car 's speakers before doing that.
@@BrokeCarConnoisseurs The only real difference could be that his may have 2 way OEM speakers instead of dual cone ones (but I don't exactly know), and it 's from 2002.
The easy trick for popping off window widers is use a tea towel. Shimmy it in and the clip pops out. Thats showing my age for sure. That used to be the prank to pull on non car savvy guys back in the day. Take off their window winders and laugh at them not knowing how to put them back on.
@@BrokeCarConnoisseurs you put the clip on then just bash the handle, either that or a terminal screw driver to clip it back in. The simplicity of that micra, you guys will have a lot of fun with. It may not create any movement in your pants driving it, but you can easily work on it. Central locking kits etc arent hard to install. Its one of those thing, you have a door, you have a gym. And theres no over complicated body control modules to say no to anything you do to the car.
@@BrokeCarConnoisseurs cheap, sorta easy but practical mods i did on my 1st car in 2003. It had ecletic windows, but there are kits available to convert. But i did an aftermarket remote central locking kit, and an auto up kit. So lock the car with the remote, windows go up. Lock with the key, doors lock but windows stay down. It was all cheap stuff from jaycar. And my attitude towards learning stuff, is just do it. Dont give up if you fail, ask for help if you genuinely fail, but not if its the too hard basket. And jaycar is your friend for questionable quality elecical mods for nuggets.
Don't be fooled people, this was an 8 hour debacle.
8hrs of bonding time 🥰
This reminds me of mighty car mods when they started out.
This is the biggest compliment! Cheers ❤
Lucas is the camera man. Good video, keep em coming. What’s next for the mods?
Keep your eyes peeled for next week! It is a confusing one but hopefully it works 😂
Cant wait
Did you get the connectors you soldered into the original leads with the speakers? Or did you order those seperately?
Love watching your videos! Hilarious
Do you have a video to show us how to remove the radio ? Thanks for you time !
I used to watch Indians build pools out of sticks before I went to bed, now I watch u guys
Sort of similar 🤔😂
Do the stock speakers have foam surround?

Mine didn't have any foam in it so if his is the same then all should be good 👌

Some boulvard, dinner plates or Simmons next for this beast
Dinner plates for sure!! Steelies are the way 👌
Can you guys let me know the size of speakers? Is it 13cm? Thanks for the help
Love your vids
Thanks Kayden
we need a huge subwoofer in a home made box to shake this car to bits
Hahahaha maybe one day 😂
If I remember correctly the alternator is quite weak in that car, so that project demands a second alternator or a switch to a bigger one.

Hahahaha that would have been so much easier than our way 😂
What is the quick way to get them back on?
