It's strange; no one was supposed to hear Closes Vol.1, yet here is a video on youtube claiming to be music from just that. BoC added it to their video playlist (I don't think they would have done so if it was mislabeled), possibly meaning they are subtly confirming that this is indeed off that album. @@TheHal90000 It’s speculation, the (length) time stamp for “5D” (5:21) mildly correlates to the shorter track presented here from RT55. The time was part of BoC’s official discography prior to the release of Music has a Right when their old works were removed (you can find that album info on BoC pages.) The assumption is that this track was shortened by around 25 seconds here due to the cross fade to the next track on RT55 and this actually goes on for a bit longer on Closes. BoC fans love nothing more than being able to give this unnamed track an official name, and feeling like they are listening to their private stash (the brothers state this album has only been heard by friends and family).

This track evokes in me a memory from when I was about 5 or 6 years old. It was one night after everyone had gone to bed and unusually I couldn't sleep. After a while I decided to creep down to the living room without my parents knowing and there I stood in the dark room for what seemed like hours staring at the night sky through the window. It takes me back to that weird combined feeling of exhilaration and isolation that I felt in that moment.
