    This is your friend that was from PA and moved to Florida like 4 years ago. We actually talked on the phone. From time to time.
    Just wanted to say Hi my friend and still watching and keeping it real Spiderman. That when I was starting my TH-cam channel. We talked about camera's and content .
    Thank again Ray.

    One good thing about HDMI 2.2 is that it SHOULD drive down the price of tvs that have that prehistoric hdmi 2.1 tech 😂

    This feels similar to when 4k was being pushed 10 years ago. Even now 4k content is not up to where it should be. 8k seem ridiculous. 4k is already hard to have an infrastructure for.

    This is mainly going to be for 4K 240hz, and to compete with DisplayPort 2.1 (especially in the monitor space) for people for the new Blackwell Series Nvidia GPU’s.
    The 3060 is already the most common GPU in PC gaming, there’s lots of people who have even higher end Nvidia GPU’s which are capable of high res high framerate content for many Gen 7-8 games (which are still more popular today than newer Gen 9 games), especially when DLSS is involved.
    Hell I have a 6700 XT, not even Nvidia so no DLSS, and it’s already what you would call a dated card in the PC space, and I can do ultra settings @ 4K well over 120hz on many gen 8 games like death stranding, older CODs.
    And lots of games have the option to remove DOF and motion blur and even have a slider to control the strength, it’s usually the first thing I turn off.

    The thing is --- We _do_ have powerful enough GPUs, _if they stopped deliberately ignoring SLI and stopped deliberately ignoring Foveated Rendering._
    Our problem isn't problems, it's solutions that aren't being implemented.

    @JoshRazauskas 27 วันที่ผ่านมา +6

    I 10,000% agree with you buddy with everything you just said! I’ve always said that if a company hired you TV technology would be so much better off than it’s probably ever going to be! One thing in particular that you didn’t mention about HDMI 2.2/8K is that 8K already is pretty much a gimmick with what little we have now because the human eye can’t really see resolution beyond 4K. 8K is essentially a glorified higher bit rate technology that it would take something to complement your eyesight to really be able to see the benefits of. Also, I personally am still very much. A 4K Blu-ray enthusiast and the market does still exist, but it’s become a collectors market and they are charging way more for it than necessary because as you said they’re cutting down the ability for companies to gain supply which forces demand to have to be compensated for in negative ways. Hopefully it will be similar to vinyl record collecting where it will never officially die, but it just won’t be a masses thing.

  • @ericspalacio
    @ericspalacio 27 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

    I mean, just think about it, if that could be done through software, we could actually start having some new standards being set for the HDR format. Everything can be done by the numbers and standards from your end to our end can be determined a lot better once testing is being done on the regular Before this kind of product is released. It would take a lot of testing and a lot of work, but the science is so exact now that it shouldn’t be too hard to get 2 to 3% close to what you’re seeing on our side and what can be viewed on your side Basically. So whatever is showing on your monitor has certain standards that are set, and as long as the picture looks decent to your eyes on your side and AI program can recalibrated to look 90 to 99% close on our side as you’re making your adjustments on your side, it can be done, this kind of technology is not in the dark ages anymore.

Skia graphite has to be turned off and sounnd setting in about:flags , clear cache . Only then do you have butter smooth uhd in edge . Why ? I do not know but its likely an apple permission issue . I’ve been attempting to have Samsung repair or replace it for 6 weeks.
