@@greenweather8949 Dude, result is totally different. Both we can get fine surface and the volume of ambient that made more believable detail. Also if you think black primer is waste of paint you now wrong at all. Primer help you secure secondary paint sticks well on surface and with detail airbrushing you just use 2-3 drop of white to paint 1-2 parts because the black surface is covered all intermittent detail from raw plastic surface or anything you did before the paint. That why airbrushing is useful tool for gunpla building 😎

There's no need to spray everything with black primer and then spray it all back to white or gray. Waste of paint.
