I felt bad for Kripp on the Harvest Golem guess. That was actually really smart.
I was thinking Soggoth. The first N'raqi in Hearthstone was the generically named Faceless Manipulator. If you have no board, you need to spend your turn playing minions to kill Soggoth.
Yea it made sense up to that point.
Games rigged, Kripp shoulda won. They didn't give him 200 points at 44:05 when he spotted two errors on the card. Thats +200 to his final score which means he woulda won.
But he got those 2 extra points sneakily, why couldn't it have just been a three way tie?
Kripp should of win they missed 200 points for the druid of the swarm

Like a mistake happened 40 minutes before the end; it's too late to complain. +It would have been a triple tie if they remove kripps 2 points he got for the memes. Thats exaclty the point, friend. They didn't realize Kripp's missing points when that happen, its not a error from the guests, its a error from production and we dont see nothing about in the video. Its a legit question to be made after the video. "Did not the production notice the missing points even after the gameshow is done?"

I think Garrett did fine, but the production was awful, making it pretty awkward. Give him another shot without all of the technical difficulties.
He was slow, quiet and didn't talk a lot. But I agree, the production was awful. A lot of bad management, the hints were really awful in the card guessing game and generally a lot of failures.
It was 600/600/900 let's give everyone 100 points and it became 700/900/800, I love streamer showdown but this episode has quite few fuck ups on the production side

Kripp got his 200 points when he incorrectly said ixlid was not an elemental and was given points regardless. So in the end, his point is correct and he lost

let me guess the reason why this match is so bad is because it was rushed and was not planned enough
huh? i thought it was great, Garett isn't as funny as nox but it was still very enjoyable to watch and it was very close, down to the last round
lots of questions/answers made no sense. For example the poisoned daggers thing. Poisoned daggers is at best a token and 100% not a card. And players randomly getting points for no reason made this entire episode complete garbage.
it can be made a card, that may just be the hosts trying to make it more difficult for the players as these are some of the most knowledgeable hearthstone viewers and from what i saw nobody got points for NO reason, the one point kripp got i'm sure would have gone to him regardless on any other episode of the show, the second point literally would have made no difference anyway, the only thing is that kripp just straight up didn't receive points for one of his correct guesses, aside from that and the mistakes included in the episode i don't think it really takes away from the viewing experience, not to mention calling it complete garbage is a gross overstatement imo...
So to explain the poison dagger and some of the other questions being a bit different, I thought last episode was way too fast because they were getting the answers super quick. This has to do with toughness of the content but also the fact Toast and others are used to my writing style so I purposely made these harder. In the end, it worked in some places and wasn't as good in others, but I just wanted to folks to know there was some intention since these players are so good. Poisoned daggers I knew was mostly a hero power but I saw the image of the card form of it so I decided to go tricky on them. Lesson learned though.
It was definitely rushed (only really had 4 days to put it together) so we didn't have the iterations we normally have but more importantly we were in the middle of a huge platform change so it caused a lot of issues (some you saw but most you didn't).
Dont care about everything just pick kripp & toast again for the next streamer showdown both of them really make the showdown really fun to watch and be a close game cause of their knowledge about the game if i may suggest one more put trump i think those 3 would be like one of the best streamer showdown episode hearthstone edition if u can make it happen it would be a close and fun match and pls fix the bug many people are triggered by it

I died of laughter when i saw kripp like 3 days earlier telling what his chat to pick in the streamer showdown and when he geussed annoy-o-tron i was on the ground

True but he shouldn't have received points for Ixlid so in the end the right players won.
That's the only reason I didn't riot alone in my room. Even though Kripp was 100% correct on Ixlid, Jackie buzzed in first with a correct answer, so whatever Kripp guessed right or wrong is irrelevant. So idk if it was production's intention to deliver Kripp's original points and didn't properly address it or if they just dropped the ball twice, but I guess it evened out in the end.
Some definite rough patches this episode, but one of the most tense and entertaining by far!
It was your fault in the first place by having the question with two answers .By the way the production crew agreed on giving him points so after that telling he shouldn't get points for something your crew already agreed on before is not cool man.I too think kripp should have won.

ChanmanV You didn't give him the points by mistake with the error. But you did give the points for ixlid knowingly. According to your rules he should have been ahead by 2.
Either do it seriously or not. You can't do both.
Honest opinion about this episode: It was kinda lame. The card reveal was pretty cool and all, but like. It was just so many bugs throughout the video, cutting off, blackscreen. Missing to give people points, like at 44:10 Kripp got -200 points for whatever reason, then they gave him back the 200 points they'd just removed and never rewarded him for being correct. The drawing session I personally think is fairly boring, most of them are fairly obvious or extremly hard to draw, I like emo-GG better. I like to think I'm competing with the streamers, so I'd see if I can answer correct before the others, just doesn't feel right to do it on the Drawing session though, + it's like 30 mintues long. The - points drama, the cuts, multiple errors in "Spot the error". Honestly one of the worse Hearthstone episodes I've seen and I think I've watched all of them because I really really enjoy the show. I'm glad you put one up so recent to the other, guess that might've been why the quality was so bad of this episode and it had to be rushed for the card reveal.
Loke Sundberg suprised kripp came back. I heard him Bitch about this a lot on his streams. Still best one is with him and Ben lol. The tension is so horrifying
You nailed it on the head. It was our worse episode production wise because we had to rush it and we are in the middle of a big platform change which we started after the last show. We didn't plan on having this reveal opportunity but we tried. There was a lot of issues behind the scenes you guys didn't see with our production dashboard having issues. We'll do much better moving forward.
ChanmanV like it’s not often some one comes out and agrees they fucked up. Didn’t even seem to be like mad either. It’s cool y’all taking it like it is makes me believe this won’t be so bad again lol. But I gotta say that garret is decent... not some one I would of had doing revealing but meh. Also how you dudes get kripp back. I’ve seen some of his twitch streams and he seemed to not enjoy these showdowns. That or he just bitches to bitches
I think it had to be rushed for the sake of card reveal, don't know if blizzard put them on an exact date, but they can't postpone it too much I'd assume.

I love this show but there hasnt been a single episode thats ran even close to smooth lol. The host is always confused as to who's turn it is. keep up the great work
I love this series, but it dropped the ball on this one between the mistakes with the cards and the extra points given to Kripp. I’m just referring to the singular bonus points he received. It may not seem like much, but this game often comes down to draws, and had it been between Toast and Kripp, Kripp would have won for that reason. Just a bit disappointed with this episode, still a big fan!
Logan Holkem true but they also forgot to give him 200 points later for a question he got right. I think it was the Druid of the swarm so he was actually 199 points short not 1 over. Again shouldn’t give out random points but they fucked up throughout even on earned points
Ah. Well as I said I was referring specifically to the individual bonus points he received, because I admit that I did not even watch the entirety of this episode. Although that would mean the case that I mentioned whereby he would win due to those extra points is actually the way it should have ended then? Assuming I am understanding you correctly that is. Either way I hope they can avoid those major mistakes in future episodes, because I do love watching this show. Just a bit of constructive criticism.

The right players won in the end. He was given points for Ixlid when he shouldn't have so it made up for that missed 200 pts. But yes, this was one of our roughest ones for several reasons. We'll clean it all up before the next one.

Actually that's not true. Most were a little higher res and I had to change some of them manually to blend it.
I like Kripp's callback to the Thor episode. Yes twtitch chat, Thor would definitely be the best partner for Thor.
Last section, Jackie combo sabotaged Toast, destroying his deadly poison dream.
Alright, you guys are all here for Noxious it seems like...Garrett may not be as funny as Noxious but he did not make any mistakes and some of his lines were actually good. By the way, Poisoned Daggers can be made as a card by playing Doomerang while it is equipped.
Please implement a short time limit for the contestant to give an answer after buzzing in. Disguised Toast keeps winning because he is constantly buzzing in immediately and then taking forever to come up with an answer, and without a timer, he will keep doing it.
The production value... blegh. Jackie did the first error, he said Candleshot, and he was right - the text was wrong.
Toast buzzes in immediately without knowing the answer and then uses like 30 seconds thinking. He does this every single time I've watched Streamer Showdown. There should be a 3 second answer rule.

46:33 There's actually another error with the Vinecleaver. Behind the card effect text is the basic hearthstone symbol, instead of the Journey to Un'Goro one.
Aren't they atleast going to explain the hints if no one guesses the card? I see fire is refering to pyromancer damaging every minion, then hymn and circle are mass heals, and then you see a lot of cards because you draw for every damaged minion.
I imagine the fire is also because of Inner Fire.

In Spot the Error, the fake card always has the mana gem that's totally dark in the top left and a slight glow in the bottom left.

In artstone the one with Sap was quite confusing. I was so convinced it was Mind Control Tech because of the lollipop thingy in his head and the 4 cards ( remember, Toast can not draw minions )
I don't think people realize how hard it is to make a show live like this. Even television professionals fuck up when they do live stuff. Great work and it was really fun, all three competitors were great. sometimes one of the three is a bit behind the other two, but not this time.

They should have all tied because they forgot to give Kripp 200 points with the Druid of the Swarm. They accidentally removed point then forgot to add any afterwards...
Kripp should be the quizmaster. He took over at 23:30 quite effectively.

I think to fix the drawing section just give the drawer 150 and the guesser 300.
Ixlid is too an elemental. They changed it into an elemental. I remember because people were calling it a minor buff to him

ChanmanV, you need to change the method of making cards for the Spot the Error round. You can easily tell which card is modified by looking at the mana crystals and find the "least shiny" one. It's been like this since this round was introduced long ago. For long time players this can be abused by instantly knowing which card to have a closer look at.
Ah ok .. I can try to alter just that part a bit better next time. Unfortunately there's not many ways to make cards right now so not many options. Do you know of any good ways to make custom cards?
Good episode despite the trouble with Kripp's points a couple times, not getting them for a question then later getting them for something he shouldn't have.
Hopefully next time the host can explain all the hints so they make sense to everybody, because I was lost on a few of those and I clearly wasn't alone. Otherwise one of the best episodes yet
Whoever set up the leeroy Jenkins question in the cardology is terrible because he actually is a follower of EPIC quality in world of Warcraft making that hint more confusing than anything

I recognize that the show was rushed for the card reveal, but I feel like recent episodes have become a little too formulaic. Some past segments like those that had a ton of cards displayed and then some sort of memory game were neat. I would just like to see more innovation and creativity with the segments. Some still run to long, like drawing, do we really need 3 drawings from each contestant? How about throwing in an additional contestant and having some randomly assigned team segments?
Is about fun factor....drawing usually makes the most laughs
Appreciate the feedback. One comment with things running long, that is the one thing that is super unpredictable. Last episode Artstone lasted 10 mins because Pathra was so good. This time it was 2.5x that. This whos was 80 mins with 4 segments. Last show was 80 mins with 6 segments. Pacing is definitely going to vary but artstone has always been a fun time so 3 each has worked for us. Also check out some of the recent episodes. We've done a variety of segments (Kappa babies, Honest Hearthstone, Top decks, etc). Hearthstone by far has the most game segments out of all of our editions.

They should have done the card reveal different. They should have been given the card art and then they would have to guess what would have been a cool text for this card kinda like the meme round on other showdowns where the chat votes on the best idea. And then the real card would have been revealed
