  • In this video we re-pipe a gas hob and remove the gas cooker hose. We 2nd fix a bathroom with a wonky shower valve and leaky toilet.
We also return to start installing the waterproof paneling but as per usual nothing is that easy! Being a plumber/heating engineer you have the constant stress of problems and issues arising. Hopefully we can get all these sorted!

Score the cut on the panel first with a grinder then saw to finish cut 👍

I just use a fine tooth wood saw for cutting the shower panels, cuts clean and easy as the product is so thin, less dust. I know it's supposed to cut cleaner with the board face down but feel there's more chance of error reversing your measurements. Nice bit of bending on the hob and a good spot on the cooker hose 👌

great video. Never seen that pre insulated pipe you used on your last video. Looks good. I have seen a water isolation valve and a tap connector to connect to a hob.

another enjoyable video thankyou. Nothing more annoying than having to re do something you have just fitted
if you do a few of them panels it might be worth investing in a tracksaw they cut neater and cut the plastic ones ok too plus good for shortening the door for the floor tiles.

Thank you very much. I'm hoping to never do them again 🤣.

I think Mira flight trays are the best tbh. More expensive yes, but lightweight, reinforced and accurately made.

I have seen one which is allowed by MI’s
    The brand is candy
But i still AR the hob because the hose was not connected in the correct way as per mi’s

I’d bin those plastic cistern fixing bolts, they are absolute turd. You can buy a metal bolt version complete with juicy thick coned washers only about £3 well worth it!

Cut the panes from the back for a lot less chipping

Being a plumber is always worth it if you’re charging £300/£400 a day labour 👍

If you cut the board from the back you will get almost 0 chipout.

You won’t be disappointed. Same as if you cut work tops always upside down. Let me know how you get on.

Didn't realise you can use compression fittings on gas.
