At 5:43 she says curls will revert once the treatment wears off, but it’s obvious her hair curls whenever she wets it. The keratin treatment doesn’t straighten hair - the blow dying and flat iron does. That’s what I love about keratin treatments - I can have the best straight blow out or the best curly wash and go whenever I choose. When I wash and go my curls are defined and glossy without gel.
Thanks for making this video, I watched this like 10x’s and decided to do the keratin treatment to my hair. i have 4A/4B hair. My hair now looks 3B AND IS CRAZY shiny. I decided to leave it in a curly state after rinsing the treatment out but i do plan on flat ironing it next wash. I actually love the result. WARNING: if you do this treatment make sure you’re somewhere properly ventilated and maybe grab a fan or 2, my eyes were burning during the blowdrying step, so be warned.
Girl thanks so much for sharing this.. I have been contemplating relaxing my hair. But after seeing this video, I bought the treatment from Amazon and applied it myself .. this has been a game changer for me, I absolutely love it..
Hi I’m a natural Silver hair, I too have been considering a relaxer. So glad I came across your video a few days ago, I ordered and received it yesterday, just finished the entire process; except for the smell during application, I love the result❤
I think I’ve watched this video over 15 times since wed. I brought the product and ran out of the treatment so I washed it out. So Thursday night I ordered a bigger bottle and washed it over doing it step by step. Omg this is a game changer because I can finally see the length of my hair which is down my back🤗. Yall need to stop playing with it🥰… put this in the budget the hell with them weaves and perms😌. Side note: the smell of that treatment is serious ah and I had to air dry my hair because the smell was so intense. Even when you flat iron it you smell it. But don’t make the mistake I made by buying such a small bottle and washing out the treatment before you flat iron it with the treatment still in your hair even though I did run out😝.
OMG!!! That looks amazing! I have been contemplating whether or not to do a keratin treatment as my hair is long, curly and frizzy at time but seeing the complete transformation on you has me sold!!! I'm just dreading the amount of time it will take me but beauty is pain! Lol. You look gorgeous girl!! 😊
i tried it on my coarse 4c hair. it made my curls a bit looser, but still tough. i did it last night so ill keep yall updated on my results. i'm assuming the 2nd time will give even better. but i needed 2 packs
I definitely needed this because I've been natural for over 6 years and I've had 1 silk press about 4 years ago and have been wanting to go again but im going to try this.
I am natural too and I've been getting the carrots in 3 minutes since last year and I love it because it's good to have I can manage it and when I get it done in I get my hair highlight it's so pretty I just got mine done yesterday
I also have super course 4c type hair and I’m thinking that it would give me a looser texture if i dos a wash n go or twist n curl natural style too (instead of step 4)
Keratin treatments (if done properly) will not loosen your curls. How they work is sealing the cuticle of your hair making it smoother. Think of it as a silk press with an extra step. I have 3c/4a hair & it didn't loosen my curls but defined them better bc all of the frizz was gone. If you have coarse 4C hair, then you will still have the 4C curl pattern but your hair will be silky. If you want to change your curl pattern then maybe a wave nouveau/curly perm. But that's what ppl get messed up about Keratin. You won't go from 4C to 3B bc 3B actually have bigger curl diameter than 4C. But your hair will be easier to manage/detangle with a good bit of texture left.
I watched this video about 10 times before I started the process. After I applied step 2, my throat and chest burned so bad, I had to stick my head inside the freezer to breathe and cool the burning in my throat. I also could not complete the cool blow dry because the product burned my eyes. No I was not in a closed space. I let my hair air dry. After my hair was dried, I flat ironed without any difficulty. The process went relatively fast. I rinsed my hair and applied step 4. My hair was bone straight. I blow dried my hair and my hair was so straight, I didn’t need to flat iron it again.❤
@@Tionaintown876 my hair turned out perfect. This is my second treatment just the first that I applied myself. Next time I will wear a N95 mask and use an electric fan if necessary.
hey girl, how does your hair look after you wash it? can you please show? I want my texture to become a bit more manageable and loose, is that the case?
You can buy just the treatment on a bigger bottle instead of getting the shampoo and conditioner TRIO. Just make sure you got a clarifying shampoo and a good conditioner ,Olaplex #8 is a good option. This way you get way more product (keratin)for your money!!!
Girllll I almost clicked off when you said we should wash our hair after that long process of flat ironing, as in 😂😂 Lol at that moment I knew keratin treatment isn’t for me😂😂😂 I cannot come and kill myself because of humidity 😂😂😂
I tried it today, my hair isn’t thick so it didn’t take long. My hair is mostly bleached all but 3 inch roots so it really loosened my curls a lot. But to be expected since my hair was damaged anyways.
@@joellyjay8879 yes I used the same brand. This is day 3 with my quick weave and I didn’t even straighten my leave out. Just very little wax stick action and it lays nicely with my deep wave bundles. I have a very similar hair txt to susu btw.
God bless you my darling fine sister for this video. They want to charge me £200 for this at the salon, but with this video now I will save that £200 and buy raw hair for the leave out 😅 win win
So you don’t need to use any other products?? I’m so used to just silking my natural hair with silk serums and heat protectant. Even after you rinse out the last step and do the last flat iron no heat protectant??
I would see what she says but I was always told that you don’t want heat protectant during the application of keratin because it will make the treatment less effective. When using heat after the treatment you can use heat protectant
It doesn’t revert to the normal curl pattern until it is all the way washed out. That takes about 6 months. So you would do this process if you intend to wear your hair straight for a while
@@keina2121it will revert one water hits it.. I don’t stay straight if u Wash.. but it will keep the hair straight wn straighten.. humidity will not let it frizz up! U will know wn it’s time for another treatment
Does this treatment have a smell where you have to be in a well ventilated room because I saw you fanning near your face and I wasn't sure if your flatiron was just hot or if it was from the keratin smell?

Oh my God that is expensive my carrot 10 treatment from my style as she charged me $98
I loved my keratin treatment but my hair lady upped her price to $475 and baby I ain’t got that kind of money 💀 so I’m here to do it my self
How did it turn out when you did it yourself?
Same price here 🥴 any updates??

How is your hair holding up? Did the treatment help your hair stay straight?
Did u use this one?
try formaldehyde free smoothing treatments. They are not as strong, but a lot healthier.

Hiii the treatment from Amazon how long does it last
Any update? Do you still like it?
I’ve never watched a video like this about keratin treatments before . This was really interesting to watch, it came out so so good
This is showing me that I definitely need to have this professionally applied- no way could I do this myself!! You’re pretty awesome ❤

Im thinking about trying this keratin treatment also. Your hair came out beautiful .

I also have super course 4c type hair and I’m thinking that it would give me a looser texture if i dos a wash n go or twist n curl natural style too (instead of step 4)

This was the best tutorial I’ve seen
Been wanting a pixie cut but without perming my hair. Will give this a try
How frequently do you wash your hair? Does hair dye (to cover gray) affect the longevity?
Beautiful!
I’m excited to try this

Hi. When applying the treatment are you suppose to go directly to the root or a few inches below?
I’m currently doing this right now. this product is so strong my eyes are burning, my nose is running oh my god .

This sound like a relaxer?
How is it now after
Been waiting for this video 😍😍

My question is, how do you maintain it,do you still have to flat iron it and if yes,how often?

I think its an instrumental of one woman by adekunle gold feat. ty dolla sign (in case you were wondering)
The music is what had me watch it all the way through😂
