@@tripatomz3441 I don't think so, because action surge allows the extra action but there's nothing saying it makes you take a second turn, it's more the fighter mustering up the strength to get those attacks in during that small time frame.

Gonna be brutally honest here. And i mean it to. Gunslinger as a subclass is kinda Garbage. Having played one myself, you are effectively halving your damage by utilizing these weapons, and that chance of failure upon a 1-3 is a mother fucker. The only reason in Pathfinder that it is so good, is that it is one of the only ways to get your dex mod to damage with ranged weapons, and those weapons attack touch Ac, so they essentially remove the enemies armor, shield, and natural armor, from benefitting their AC. That last one being something 5e gunslinger doesn't do. It is a testimony to what a Fighter can do when it's player can score crit after crit after crit. If percy weren't a gunslinger, and was, say, an Arcane Archer or Samurai instead, i think he'd be doing way more damage then he's ever done, even with Bad News, or the Animus, considering Kabals Ruin can just as easily be used with those, and they also benefit greatly from Crits.
I feel like he was actually nerfed here because of Taliesin's rolls. He's just so fantastic at that, Matt decided to make a subclass in 5e to keep him from becoming a one man army.

Tpk no chance especially if Taliesin Jaffe is Rolling.
Percy having a conversation with his wife Vex'alia:
Percy: But dear, I want to be E V I L
Vex: Not now dear, we have brunch with Pike at noon.

Try to fit that on a business card.
Don’t forget god killer, and proably a few others that I have forgotten.

Yeah. Forget business card, this man needs cardboard to fit that
Percy just became The Mysterious Stranger lol.
I love this.
“You can’t just blow a hole in the surface of a God-“
When this eventually gets animated, I want to see Bad News glow like a fucking bonfire before literally nuking Godling.
I want percy to be like constantly working on it in the background of the show up to this point of having this big ass rifle that he's lugging through Pandemonium and some experimental supercharged cartriges that he uses for this attack
thank you for the hearts above vex
*gets a massive roll*
"That'll do"
T H A T S A L O T O F D A M A G E!!!!
Jesus i havent seen those kind of numbers since 4e
Level 20 fighters with the right feats can deal some insane damage. Hell I ran a campaign with a 10 bard/10 fighter(arcane archer) mix armed with a hand crossbow who was just insane. He could do Grog levels of damage from the back field.
A fighter with either -5 +10 dmg feat can get 80-100 damage from that alone, 8x to 10x their dice (that can crit) and 8 to 10 times their damage modifier/magic bonuses (5+)
"Thiiis is my *BOOM* Stick!" - Ash
"That's cute." - Percy
You know why Percy’s sniper is called bad news? Because nothing travels faster, and nothing hits harder, then bad news
Hearing him say the name of it to met at a con was beautiful, and Im just going off the animated show.
Oh god I can hear myself in the crowd at 4:48 yelling "NO MERCY PERCYYYYY" 😂
Thanks for not removing the hearts the audience could see at 3:00. So many places edited that out.
As a left arm amputee I can’t let that last joke go by without comment.
It was gd hilarious! Brah-vo!
As a person with a paralyzed left arm i wholly agree!
"you have advantage by the way"
"Oh I know!"
For some reason this exchange had such energy to it
"Oh I hate to be the bearer of Bad News...PSYCH!!"
I just love the look on Laura's face as Talesin's counting those d6's, just goes from 'oh yeah, that's good.' to 'Whoa? That's gotta hurt!' ending with "OMAHGAWD!"
My head cannon is when Percy fired Bad News 6 gate spells randomly opened in front of the muzzle, and channeled the Wave Motion Canon's energy from Space Battleship Yamato. You can't convince me otherwise. Goddanm.
If you haven't seen it, there's a gun in Destiny 2 called "No Time to Explain" that does just that, opening portals to alternate timeline versions of the weapon to triple the damage.
Nah. He shot Enuma Elish
I’m just really really impressed with Mercer’s body isolation for those mimed shots. That shit is hard.
Everyone, even Matt, has a pretty significant reaction to Percy doubling his damage on the crit...except Travis, who looks like he's just waiting to bust out Grog and try and top it.
then he hears about hemoraging shot..... and he falls in love
travis for gunslinger c3
Why am I seeing Percy as a character so powerful they cutting room floored him from Trigun?
My favorite part of all this?
Every turn taken while in combat equals 6 seconds in the game's world
Percy literally did all of that in *SIX SECONDS*
A round takes six seconds, so he did that in a FRACTION of 6 seconds. The only god I see in that fight is the god of firearms and his name is DeRollo
When a level 20 fighter deals more than 250 damage in a single turn
We've reached peak D&D, guys
Bah Gawd! He killed him! As God as my witness, he is broken in half! That demigod has a family!
HAD!
HE KILLED HIM! OH MY GAWD HE KILLED HIM!
He just did a third of Tiamat's hp
I love how Mercer says "Level 20 fighter"
But its using a HOMEBREW subclass imported from 3.5/pathfinder
@@Crouza Hell with Tal's rolls he could run straight Champion, imagine what Percy would be capable of landing crits on an 18 with Tal's luck?
I feel like he was actually nerfed here because of Taliesin's rolls. He's just so fantastic at that, Matt decided to make a subclass in 5e to keep him from becoming a one man army.
I love Caduceus, but GODS I miss DPS Taliesin.
No Mercy Percy is the best Percy!!!!!!!!!!

Man what if molly rolled like this 😢
he would be dead anyway, sadly Taliesin did not have the grasp of a blood hunter yet, he rolled like shit but melee was not his thing at all
freakindamnshiki yeah, bloodhunter is a tricky class. I like the idea of it though.
Well he _kinda_ suicided with his blood maledict.. lmao
No shade though. Bloodhunter is super weird to play.
then the blood maledict would've killed him that much faster
If I recall, that class ended up being changed after Molly's death, so clearly Matt saw stuff that he thought should be improved.
That crit damage, though. That was satisfying.
We need a one shot where it’s just all of talisins overpower characters working together, Imagine Caduceus uses path to the grave and then Percy deals 350 damage, and you have Molly and Ashtin just beating the shit out of them
Stop, I can only get so aroused.
If I ever need someone to roll for my life, I'm calling Taliesin. I don't think I've ever seen someone come up with clutch rolls so often.
Travis could help too. He doesn't roll them as often as Talesin but if it's a clutch situation, Travis delivers
when you play a healing cleric, when you have an opportunity you attack as much as possible and deal 250 damage in one round.
too bad Liam wasted his turn summoning a useless Raven and died lmao
Talesin isnt playing a cleric in this
@@cheeseyconnor8268 he does in campaign 2 and this was played during campaign 2 where he has played a healer for the last 7 months. Going back to the opposite kind of character makes you want to exploit it as much. I thought everyone was getting the joke..
