i like how when travis says a word that's too advanced for grog, he pretends grog had a nosebleed or a headache or passes out. or when he has a thought that's remotely intelligent, it hurts.
The best Grog was when he went potion shopping and the merchant liked him and gave a good deal. Then Vex butted in assuming he was too dumb to haggle and the Matt quietly gave her a terrible deal and she didn’t even know Grog was better with money.
I just adore how Travis always commits to the bit. "Grog, one hundred needs three hands." "How many?" "Three hands." "How many?" It'd be so easy to slip and just go, "Ah, right, I get it." and end the bit. But... *no*. He's got the bit, and he's not gonna let it go. Absolute class act.
So in c1 travis could have fun being crazy and do reckless stuff. In c2 he wanted to try a smarter, more serious character, AND we saw him overcome the romance thing. Now c3 chetney is a mix of everything, he can be chaotic and reckless, but also incredibly smart, and on top of that he's got no qualms about the romance thing. The progression is so good lol
Ran a game, the dumbest guy in the group rolled a nat 20 to figure out the monsters weakness. If that had not happened I would have been a TPK. P.S. that was how the player was rolling the whole day.🤪🤣
@@joshuaryan2341They took it because they(the players) knew what it was, when in campaign, the characters shouldn't have known the danger and really shouldn't have cared as much. The first campaign was full of them making meta decisions, it was one of the biggest complaints I saw.
@@chadwood4412 a fair complaint although i will say given the nature of the deck and how easily it couldve caused a massive problem i think it was KINDA warrented i personally say that the deck should just NEVER go in any campeing
I also make dice! starlightdice.etsy.com
I like to think that Grog is the only one who knows he’s in a game, but just doesn’t understand the ramifications that brings.
Grog is so dumb that the 4th Wall breaks HIM.
So a less powerful Caduceus?
Very Deadpool
So he's Caboose? Got it.

I think it often goes underappreciated how quick witted and good at improv Travis has to be to make many of these jokes.
0:56 Vax: “If not now, when? If not us, who?”
Grog: LOADING - PLEASE WAIT.
“It means if I die you win” is one of the best character moments from Percy
"your word is safe with us because i don't know what you're talking about" is one of my favorite lines from grog XD
Right up there with "Your secret is safe with our indifference" from I think Mollymauk lol
@anewhero1216 I think that was Percy, actually. Ir maybe not, I only remember it was Talesin.
i literally just scrolled to this comment JUST as the video got to Travis saying this. that was fucking fantastic. thank you so much
This makes me realize that Travis and Taelisin should sit together more often, they played so well off eachother 6:48
The way he just stops mid-sentence to look at Grog/Travis kills me.
Only someone as smart as Travis could play someone as dumb as Grog so well
My favorite Grog moment has got to be when Kima broke his mind. Will not understand how he kept his face straight. 😂
The best Grog was when he went potion shopping and the merchant liked him and gave a good deal. Then Vex butted in assuming he was too dumb to haggle and the Matt quietly gave her a terrible deal and she didn’t even know Grog was better with money.
Pike: "Hey! What.... are you drinking? And why... didn't you bring some to me?" :D
Forgot how much I love that last one, Kima is the best and no one does cute gentle giant like Grog
It's the total deadpan Travis delivered everything as Grog that made it special.
I just LOVE Travis playing his character Grogg and i miss VM! Ty for you sharing this! Bidet from a fellow CRITTER in Sweden!
“Grog, how many fingers am I holding up?”
“Square”
I just adore how Travis always commits to the bit.

"Three hands."

Was literally watching Parts 1 and 2 yesterday. You’re definitely fate touched 💪
Our favorite himbo returns
Grog is still my favorite characters
I am very happy there is a 3rd part of this, I love the first two and I love Grog.
it's always interesting seeing players that act, vs those that portray their actions with an authors perspective
I really and truly miss seeing Travis play Grog. He was absolutely the most entertaining character from season 1.
5:18 Jester is that you?
Hazah! A part three! It has indeed been a long time coming.
I love how Grog casually breaks the 4th wall at 4:49.
Grog using a big-boy word at 2:05. XD
I am very glad, that you are back, Brianna! Thank you for your video )
Thank you so much! I’m really enjoying being able to make more videos and I’m glad you’re enjoying watching them!
He’s honestly my fav part of the Amazon show🤣
This is like a better version of "that tiktok song" or "that fortnite character"
it takes a clever man to play such a low int character soooo hilariously xD
Travis' shitty intelligence rolls always makes these moments that much better. nothing can be paired with such low rolls better than a -2 mod. haha
Ran a game, the dumbest guy in the group rolled a nat 20 to figure out the monsters weakness. If that had not happened I would have been a TPK. P.S. that was how the player was rolling the whole day.🤪🤣
I played in a campaign once with a character that had a charisma of 6. he was the face of the party. I thought of Grog, the brains, often
How the hell does he keep a complete stone face while everyone is utterly losing it around him?
I forgot they got Rasputin to guest star.
Man I miss Grog, I like fjord he's a fantastic character but Travis playing Grog is just the best
I love grog
6:32 who threw that dice ?
Grog is the most edumedicated man in the group.
I miss grog, best character imho
Oh god, I forgot about the amount of meta gaming that was going around from some people about Grog having a Deck of Many Things.
How was it meta gaming?

Grog the Broken
What episode is at 6:05? And what were the after affects?
Where is sam during these episodes? I haven't watched season 1
🥰
It takes a rly smart and quick player to play such a stupid character!
That time the smartest player play the dumbest character but can't stop helping because all other players are to dumb....
