- This video is intended to introduce the major gaps in the current education system namely lack of student specific curriculum, soft skills and communication skills, preparedness for industry needs etc. The video also points out to the need of career counselling and introduces the background story behind beginning of the Province Academy of career education.
I, Dr Saji Balakrishnan, am the Chairman of the institution and try to convey through this video about the importance of taking remedial steps to improve the shortcomings of the current curriculum and emphasizes the need for career guidance for high school and undergraduate college students.
Everything that I say in these videos is purely through my own experiences.
This also means that the points presented and my advice may not always be the best. So, in case I make a mistake or you feel something could be improved, the best way to correct me will be to share your point of view in the comments, so that everyone can benefit from it.
I do not claim perfection and would love to learn and grow. The idea is to reach out to students, parents, teachers, employers and other stakeholders in the society and to contribute for improving the standards of our academic system. Province Academy of Career Education wish to offer a new beginning by serving as one of the dedicated institutions for such an initiative by offering career counselling, guidance, mentoring and training students, teachers and other stakeholders.
Through the video, we explore some of the specific aspects of education that could finally lead to happy individuals, happy families and happy societies. Don't miss this insightful conversation.

As the leader of the institution, if a staff member submits a resignation letter, the reason for the departure should be discussed. I'm posting this remark... since it says in the video that you're interacting directly with teachers. When I tendered my resignation from your organisation, no meeting was held from your side as close interaction.

Dear Sir,
I am very sorry to say this in a public platform. But I have worked under you in Vidya Academy of Science and Technology. To be very honest you were not a person who interacted with the faculties and students. You were biased. In my department alone there were 12 resignation ( including me)in a year or so . All those staffs who resigned were having more than 9 years of experience which shows your failure. Same with the case of most of the departments. Till i was in Vidya (2022) you have never handled a subject for the students where all other Principals who were before you have done that and had a very good understanding with students and teachers.All the Principals before you knew all the Teachers , their strengths and weakness and could use them accordingly.But you couldnt because you never interacted with any of us.Vidya was a very good, infact number 1 college in Thrissur when I started my career in 2009. You have a significant role in turning the college to an average one.
