Another fabulous property tour. No better way to start the weekend than with you and Mac! I’ve recently completed a restoration in Todi and have the perfect solution to saving precious space in my bathrooms: toilet/bidet combo. I think they originated in Japan , they are terrific aesthetically, have sophisticated features like heated seats and save an enormous amount of valuable space. I was surprised how little known they are in Italy. Popular brands include Toto and Gerberit. They are a godsend!

They kept the old feeling but brought it into the 21st century. Well done! Love all the beams on the ceilings! And those windows!! Those floors!!! This is a total gem. Lovely little 2 bed townhouse in a fabulous location. Priced at a premium as all done, with premium finishes (which tastefully and respectfully update the property), would make a fantastic luxury bolthole for a small family or investment property to rent. That is one stylish little place. What they have done to the interior in such a location is nothing short of amazing. Its a small place but perfect for 2 people. What a find. Love the way Macchi just plopped down and snoozed - he must enjoy his rummages!

beautifully OLD - magnificent! that street lends a somewhat hidden and discreet ambience so the opening scene made me immediately happy knowing something wonderful as about to be shown me! the new about it is so fantastic to keep that old feel about it. kudos!! someone's decorating sense is perfect for this property--simple and simply lovely :) the garden is inviting and private and not much to maintain (a plus in my book). the light bouncing off of those walls and the floors is wondrous! the warmth and comfort coming from them can be felt! what a charmer :) ! it needs nothing except someone to call it theirs! what a unique and lovely find nick!

Our house was built by an Italian Stone Mason in 1921. Exterior walls were built of hollow tiles. It was a typical Italian home. Basement/winery, Main floor, and large attic. We loved this place. I really enjoy seeing your Italian real estate. We are tempted into purchasing an Italian home. We really enjoyed the tour of your home !! Your ballroom is a unique feature !!! Love Montone. It’s my favouite Umbrian hill top town. The house is delightful - so well renovated, especially live those tiles!! Mack adds to the joy of viewing this with you! 😊
Fabulous property. I explored Montone, never found Stanley Tucci, but discovered a story book village. Does this warrant the price? I would have to say yes on location alone. Not to mention the beautiful restoration. To me, it’s a perfect retirement home. Nick does not exaggerate on the peaceful tranquility of this place. It IS extraordinary. I rate the drive up to Montone as a “FOUR”. Meaning I stopped four times to take pictures of the view. Definitely an “oh my!” Drive. Thankfully I will be living in Morra not too far away and will definitely include this on my rotazione settimanale del pranzo. Al maestro dei video immobiliare, grazie.

Hi there... So they did a nice job on the renovation, however. I would say based on what I saw in the video you have a one bedroom one bath house with a small office. I'm sure it would make a nice B&B, but a second home in Italy; not so much, as I would not even be able to invite my daughter and granddaughter to stay. $360k for such a tiny place with a children's fridge is a bit much I think. This home is beautiful, but very small with just one bath. I was guessing below $100K. Not close to any major city. Just seems really high cost/sq meter.
Beautiful little house. Most people will have a hard time justifying spending over 200K for a 2 bed/1 bath, let alone 365K. That's a big ouch. Perhaps they over improved the property with all radiant in floor heating on all levels 🤔
Oh - Montone. A very nice Umbrian town, very quiet and nice, indeed. The property itself it spotless - very minimalitic modern yet age-old. Fantastic renovation. Lovely little garden off the spacious kitchen with a little dining area too. The living area is spacious as well and I love the bathroom and agree they did not need the bidet. Kids room is tiny but oh so cute and the primary bedroom is plenty. Unfortunately it was dreary outside which made for a dark inside, but overall what a fantastic property. Oh and I do really like the split levels with the kitchen on the ground floor and just a few steps up to the living area, the separation is just right.

Another week, another great property. It seems like a wonderful town; I remember your previous video well. The floors are fabulous and the kitchen is a very close second. I wish there was at least some exposed stone on the walls. I think it would have made more of a connection with the medieval town. But I still wouldn't mind owning this home. I think Macchie has the right idea on a chilly, foggy day...just stretch out and relax. What a good dog! Nick, thanks for sharing!

Another WOW Nick. I love that its old but has a modern clean look. I normally like old, old and old, but they did a great job of making it simple yet elegant. The owners did a beautiful job of restoring it. I like that they did the windows, roof and underfloor heating- the best. How about electric? I see the new switches you mentioned. I had in floor heating in my previous house and miss it now with cold tile floors in Florida. brrr I think the price is right on. When you give costs of taxes, trash etc is that for an Italian or is it more $$ for those of us who live out of the country? Hi to Mac, he is such a lovely dog. Great space and a good price. The 1 bathroom is a real negative though. Even if it’s just for a single person or a couple without kids, it means letting company use your bathroom. Most Americans (probably many others as well) will find that to be a deal breaker. But it’s a lovely house and a great renovation 👍

No a/c, lots of charm but lots of stairs, one bath, no garage, small village. I am seriously shopping, so please correct me if I am wrong. Seems over priced❤️

Great property. All one has to do is watch Mac who flops down comfortably in this house and they will know how relaxing this decor is. If a house has negative vibes dogs are not comfortable in the house.

A wonderful property. Very tasteful and high-end refurbishment, although to my personal taste maybe a smidge too-modern. Still, for someone looking for a turn key home, this is a great option.
It's a very nice home and they have good taste in the way that the house was restored. If you are just living there part-time you would need a car since you have to travel to get to stores and to go see the sights. How would you store a car to use when you're in town? Is there taxi's or Italian version of Uber so you can get around.
When you talk about using a property as an airBNB rental, are there companies or people in these towns that act as managers to handle all that when the owner is not present?

You got your bidet because the law, but Italians use bidet not only for one thing (that thing), so they generally love the separated bidet.

Fantastic renovation. Lovely little garden off the spacious kitchen with a little dining area too. The living area is spacious as well and I love the bathroom and agree they did not need the bidet. Kids room is tiny but oh so cute and the primary bedroom is plenty. Unfortunately it was dreary outside which made for a dark inside, but overall what a fantastic property. Oh and I do really like the split levels with the kitchen on the ground floor and just a few steps up to the living area, the separation is just right.

Another week, another great property. It seems like a wonderful town; I remember your previous video well. The floors are fabulous and the kitchen is a very close second. I wish there was at least some exposed stone on the walls. I think it would have made more of a connection with the medieval town. But I still wouldn't mind owning this home. I think Macchie has the right idea on a chilly, foggy day...just stretch out and relax. What a good dog! Nick, thanks for sharing!

Another WOW Nick. I love that its old but has a modern clean look. I normally like old, old and old, but they did a great job of making it simple yet elegant. The owners did a beautiful job of restoring it. I like that they did the windows, roof and underfloor heating- the best. How about electric? I see the new switches you mentioned.
I had in floor heating in my previous house and miss it now with cold tile floors in Florida. brrr
I think the price is right on.

Great space and a good price. The 1 bathroom is a real negative though. Even if it’s just for a single person or a couple without kids, it means letting company use your bathroom. Most Americans (probably many others as well) will find that to be a deal breaker. But it’s a lovely house and a great renovation 👍
Hi Nick, love that poodley dog, Mac. Do you believe this property is priced correctly. At just 1200+/- sq feel at current Euro rate ($1.09) $365,000 = $397,850 or $332 psf. No a/c, lots of charm but lots of stairs, one bath, no garage, small village. I am seriously shopping, so please correct me if I am wrong. Seems over priced❤️

Great property. All one has to do is watch Mac who flops down comfortably in this house and they will know how relaxing this decor is. If a house has negative vibes dogs are not comfortable in the house.

A wonderful property. Very tasteful and high-end refurbishment, although to my personal taste maybe a smidge too-modern. Still, for someone looking for a turn key home, this is a great option.
It's a very nice home and they have good taste in the way that the house was restored. If you are just living there part-time you would need a car since you have to travel to get to stores and to go see the sights. How would you store a car to use when you're in town? Is there taxi's or Italian version of Uber so you can get around.
