Review of Knottec Wood Filler and Cheap Glue Mat.

A Cheap glue mat is a good thing. All of us do glues ups. and they can make a mess. Having the right process to handle the glue squeeze out, is helpful for an easy clean up. I looked and searched for a less costly glue mat, as $25 to $28 (on sale) at the Woodworking stores was too much. When you take your woodworking to the next level, you know, knot filling and blemish correction, you typically use epoxy. But not any more!!!!! How do hard wax oils work over the polymer repair?

For the knotted is it necessary to use their glue gun or coat it be used with a regular glue gun?

I’m not sure a regular glue gun would get hot enough to melt their material

I think the dry glue pull off is as much fun (& therapeutic) as popping bubblewrap :>) BTW, why didn't you use the mat as a sanding mat later in the video? I'll bet it works good for that too. Great video

It does work good, but the sanding mat but it gets a bit dusty so I use a different one.
