That was fantastic. Beautiful garden and great tour. At times it sounded like you were commentating on the Grand National😂.
    Roses beautiful.❤

Beautiful garden of roses and companion plants. So pretty. Wish TH-cam could capture the fragrance.

Thank you for this Ben - you have a gorgeous garden . I feel it's great that we have all your advice and knowledge for free so would be very happy to make a contribution to the charity if I could have the details . Don't know if it was a problem with me but I lost the sound after a while ! Thanks for all the videos 😊.

I hope it was just an issue affecting yourself. I’ll drop a link to the charity in the comment section for you.

Yay!! Ben so lovely to see your amazing garden! Thank you for sharing. I live north of San Francisco on the coast and we too have had a damp summer thusfar, mostly due to fog and cool temps. Blackspot is an issue on some. I am SOOOO glad you'll be staying on at your place! Awesome news!

So lovely Ben! Thank you for that tour. I was wondering how many hours of sunlight does the bed with Sophie's Rose get?
I too, have been having a miserable year with my dahlias. I was so happy they overwintered well in my cellar and then got slammed with pests. Another question for you, why would a dahlia come up, show nice growth, and then just start wilting away?
(Her neighbors look happy, but she is just wilting away)

The raised planter containing Sophie’s rose get us around 3 to 4 hours of direct sunlight per day nothing to intense
It’s been a bad season getting dahlias moving we have a very active mole in the garden right now. Are you sure you haven’t got a ground-based pest

Absolutely wonderful garden, Ben! Thank you so much for sharing! This is so encouraging to see the roses that I am considering in the garden and with other plants. What are the smaller plants that look like daisies? Are they just a different variety? They have smaller heads, some larger oranger centers, some small flowers on taller stems, etc.

The ones you see dotted about in the wildflower Meadow and in the border behind the patio are known as oxeye daisies they are a perennial wildflower very similar to its larger cousin which produces flowers around 3 inches across has grown as a perennial plant

A beautiful garden tour full of lovely roses. Ben, I have 2nd spring Roahl Dahl rose in a 62L pot. Each spring, It looks v healthy and loads of blooms until 1st flush is over in June. Then most foilage turn yellow / black spots and drop, even worst than Boscobel. Each spring Pruned carefully for air circulations, gets same feed as other roses. Do you have any suggestions to improve this condition. Many thanks for your helpful advice.

I’m sorry that you’re having issues with it, but by the sounds of things it’s getting stressed and probably drying out
This particular plant prefers to be in partial shade only receiving a maximum of about four hours of the day only sunshine in the morning and it seems to prefer this
