Made my childhood come to life man! I grew up on this show and love it, if you want your megatron to be more show accurate and have his cannon there’s an upgrade kit sold on eBay that vastly improves the figure
I remember they also used that color of brown on two of the Iron Mongers from the Iron Man line as well. So I guess they probably didn't know how to do metal at the time.
There’s a KO transformers prime RID Megatron call APC Toys APC-002 DARK MASTER that’s scales much better with the first edition of his prime, has more show accurate accessories, and is a nice silver
Fantastic work! On most occasions I have little to no experience customizing the figures you do, but this is one of those rare times where I actually have some, and I can safely say that you and I pretty much did the exact same thing to the figure (albeit I customized mine using Sharpies...). I can't say you painted him up to be completely show accurate, as the feet, hands, and neck should be black for one thing, but it still looks amazing. I hate to burst your bubble though, but there is indeed a 4th party KO company that has already released the First Edition Prime, both in its original colors and in a metallic version; however, I do believe you did a better job than they did when it comes to a metallic paintjob. The only issue you might have in knowing this information is the fact that you could have acquired this figure for far cheaper than what you likely paid, though in saying that I'm sure it wasn't an outrageous amount of money. The 4th party company that released him, APC Toys, did also include the Dr. Wu upgrade kit accessories with their versions, so that may also be a point of contention. With all that being said, while your Prime and APC Toys' Prime stack up pretty well, their version of Prime Megatron far exceeds the RiD version (trust me, I've owned both) so I highly recommend you ditch the RiD Megatron as soon as you possibly can and get your hands on APC's version, because it truly is the superior figure in practically every regard. Basically, don't waste your time even trying to customize that RiD Megatron, because there's a much better version of that figure out there right now.
Heyo! Damn you're right, I went back to the Masters and Students episode (the only episode I can think of with Optimus out in broad daylight) and his hands are indeed black, or at the very least a very dark gunmetal. I am aware of the APC figures as I did a lot of research before I picked up the two official figures and I know they both look great (especially Dark Master, guuuuuh) but I have this annoying thing where its gonna nag me in the back of my head knowing that I don't have official representations of those characters. It's part of my OCD and it absolutely sucks (actual diagnosed disorder and not played for laughs). I will do my best with the RID Megatron though, I've already done some mods to the fusion cannon to decrease its size, and also maybe when the R.E.D. figures come out I can steal some parts from him (both Optimus and Megatron will definitely be too small but their head sizes might work).
@@VADtoys Man, that does suck, but your OCD is still a valid reason to not pick up the APC figures. As a collector, I usually have a similar thing about picking up 4th party or otherwise unofficial figures, but recently with Transformers in particular I've pretty much completely gotten over it considering I have 3 4th party figures in my small Transformers collection: APC Toys' Prime and Megatron, and a KO Masterpiece Beast Wars Megatron that was quite literally 1/3 of the retail price. In fact I would say these days my bigger collector OCD comes to scale, which is probably why I had no problem picking up the much larger and more scale accurate APC Megatron. Not to argue your OCD, but I would say the quality of these figures is pretty much on par to anything Hasbro would have given us... at the very least, maybe you could pick up the APC Megatron anyway and keep the official RiD version for your main display? Again, not sure what your exact though process is when it comes to these types of things, and I'm not trying to discount your very real OCD, but I'm just trying to do anything I can to justify you picking up the Megatron so a fellow TFP fan can enjoy it too.
2:32 I used to be all willy nilly and not have a plan but as time went on and transformers prices kept going up and up i started making a basic outline of a plan😆
You Literally Forgot Bumblebee, His Design In The Series Version Is Great, But The Toy Literally Sucks, It Has Black Wheels And Has A Blue Window, Which Is Ridiculous, So If You Read This, Do It, Recommended Pls

You were talking to the toy funny 😆 your Optimus is like sorry my bad and you are like it’s okay
Literally, Just Paint The Wheels Silver And The Window Blue To Make It Show Accurate, Just Like What You Did To Every 3 Character That You Painted
what kind of paint do you use?
also good job on the repaint it looks sick
I Hope You Didn't Forgot It, Bring Back TFP Toys
And Also Customizing
Do you ever put primer or any gloss or satin finish spray on your custom transformers Toys I wonder.
I put some matte varnish on studio series Starscream but none on any of the TF Prime figures
Great job as always bad I always enjoy your vids
AND YOU FORGOT THAT SINCE FOR 3 YEARS
How can i remove the light piping
There's a screw at the back of the head that holds everything together. Just unscrew it.
@@VADtoys and how did you separate the eyes to it?
