Might want to do something about that loose oil cap. Before it falls off while you're driving down the road. Haven't seen a baby supercharger like that in a very long time. I love it. The sound , the fast reving engine. Very nice
I didn't know they made 3-71 blowers. I thought 4-71 was the smallest. I hope you don't restore the car, its perfect just like it is. I dig the magneto too!
They sure are, one reason they aren't used much on the road anymore. They don't meet emissions. When I was a kid, in my small town, there were several loggers who used them. You could hear them for a LONG ways off on a quiet early morning.
Awesome ride!
Love these little short stroll monsters.👍🤙😁

All Detroit Diesel "dash" series engines are blown, not for HP but to make them run. They made a 1-71 and just like the rest, it has a blower
fourfortyroadrunner Those are two stroke Diesels?

Where do I find this barn?!
Just wondering if you knew where the headers came from who made them
NICE!!! Those valve covers alone are an awesome barn find. Has it been on the street yet?
I probably had a half dozen sets of those valve covers over the years. Never would of thought that people would be looking for them.
I have a set of valve covers just like that
Instant Rat Rod . . . lovely . . .!
Did it blow the doors off the barn ??
I used to tell the guys, ready to eat a little Chevy smoke!
Thats awesome!
I found one just like it but my battery went dead on my camera
it's a 3-71. Count the ribs.
If I wasn't married I'd put one on my 454 in my 68 Chevelle.
who needs a wife anyways
Does the oil in the supercharger go bad after a few years? But he may have done a full fluid change before firing a barn find like that.
Niiiiicccceeee sound....
He said it was a 3-71
"The first run of a barnfind"? Is that the first start in x-amount of years?
way cool
its a 4-71 duh.
I think it's called 6-71 blower?
Charles Walker 3-71 the 6-iwork would not work to big length wise
I thinks
they come in various sizes from 3-71 up to 8-71 maybe bigger!?.
