@@EvaLoVerdehavent played sims in ages but i believe that there are no decorations for the inner part of the roof? not sure what they’re formally called but the white gabled roof decoration in the tapered part where the roof meets! to my knowledge there’s nothing like that in the sims without mods or cheats
it's so cute ! i love the style of the vegetation and the rendering of the different textures, a really lovely home and i'm really glad to see more frequent shorts and mini videos on this channel because it can only mean that the game is progressing a little more everyday ! wich fills me with joy ♥
I really love how this game is coming along - just one humble suggestion; it may just be early in development but right now i think the visuals are a bit flat. I completely understand that you’re going for a certain art style. I just think you could still keep your style while injecting more depth and contrast in your colors/shadows/textures etc. For a cosy and wholesome feel maybe take a look at some ghibli backgrounds for inspiration. Just a thought 🤗
I have this same thought. It looks great from a distance, but zooming in you can see that the tree leaves lack texture and even the roses are just a blocky shape with no texture/form, etc, but I am keeping in mind this isn’t the final product and hoping it improves.
@@tlcmnchld As a FFXIV player I'm just gonna go ahead and say that having too much detail can be a bad thing. The original release of FFXIV was legendarily awful, for many reasons. But a big one was because of all the detail they wanted to add to small things. There's a basket of flowers that costs more GB than its worth. The game ran like hot smoking garbage, and they had to hit the reset button When its close up, it is noticable. Agreed. But on a day to day function, how often are you gonna zoom in on the leaves of a tree? Probably less often than you want the game to run smoothly. There is definitely a balance to be had. I can't really say if they struck it yet. I'd have to see more how the game would actually look for the everyday gamer. UI and all.
I actually like the world style but the paras just just look far too flat and 2 dimensional to me. They're like comic book characters; paper thin. I'm just not feeling it at all and they don't really match the world too me.

The little roof decorations (don't know the name of it), the different trash cans, the vines, the balcony up top, the vairety in (matching) windows... I really, really can't wait to get my hands on this game and build houses!

I've been searching for House Building and Designing game simulator for some years and now, I found this underdeveloped game with good graphics and great game mechanics.. Hoping for Farming Feature. I think this game will be on top list someday ❤️
Please please please do apartments similar to how Sims 2 did it. Of course it'll be its own Paralives system, but the apartments in the other Sims games were not it.
